I will stand by the crowd that claims chysler killed jeep. However, they have had a couple things come out of the factory doors I still approve of. I like the current JK, 4wd or not. I'm a huge fan of the CRD. And even if the new liberties are nitro based, I really dig the sliding cloth roof option. The compass, patriot, and the freakin panda....no, not jeeps. I do agree that an awd sedan or coupe would be pretty cool, as long as it was somewhat sporty, and a WRX competition. But the way things are going, I'd rather just see jeep die, than see it become this little crapbox

That's ok. Throw the haynes manual in the trash anyway. They are junk for MJs. The site you stumbled upon is ten times better than any book you can buy at Vato zone The guys here are more knowledgable than any manual

It has been done. But take it from me, just because you have the parts doesn't necessarily mean it will be easier/cheaper. I tried to make a set of free bucket seats work, only to hack 6" off the frames, build new brackets, lost enough skin on my middle finger to warrant a trip to the clinic, and the next day? The bench went back in. I threw the free seats away.

I dunno about that, I watched some dumb college kid do it yesterday...with 2 futons! He pulled out ahead of me onto the highway, I looked at his load and said "that aint gonna stay there" so I gave him a long stretch of room and watched him speed up to 65, hit a pothole, and watched as two futons came galloping out the back of his daddy's new F-150. Scratched the heck out of the bed. I drove by and laughed. As far as TV goes, I have all the good stuff on DVD...Beavis and Butthead, ATHF, Venture bros, Robot Chicken, Lost, Firefly, etc. I work night shift, so there is literally no point in paying for cable

Sorry, I meant the bezels around the power switches. Since my mj lacks these things, will the bezel from my mj bolt in where the xj bezel sits? Nothing a tape measure won't answer I guess. I'll throw one in the toolbag when I go parts pulling :idea:

64 my man the rez is no different here in SD, the only exception is here in SD you probably would have had a squatter in that exploder, and it would have had more bullet holes than hunter s. Haha no. I bought mine off of CL and it needs a front bumper. I currently have a 2x4. I'm workin on a tube bumper, but if it doesn't work out my local JY has one for 50 bucks

So my understanding is...I should buy the MJ buckets for their sliders and floor brackets, and the XJ seats cuz they're sexy? Then I can just take the cushion off the XJs and put them on the MJs?? Also, I need to get the "power" switch for my trans, can I snag that from this XJ too? The mj there is a 5spd
