  1. I agree. Great looking truck x's 2.
  2. Ah the Florida heat, I think I'm on my third headliner, third paint job, at least 10 rad overflow caps, 2nd ac unit, but I guess I will take that with NO RUST!!!!!
  3. Wow! I am very impressed with this undertaking. Some of the projects like this just blow me away. Keep up the great work.
  4. Great work already, keep it up! Hope to see you zooming down I4 someday, unless it's in traffic and then we'll both be stopped and then we can talk about our mj's!!!
  5. Welcome to the club, hope you enjoy your mj as much as I do.
  6. I like the new wheels. Did you paint them? My mj is grey and black also, I want to go with black wheels, just trying to decide which way to go. Great truck.
  7. Well you definitely want a/c in Georgia, I agree with carnuck, put the mj on a tow dolley, sell the trailer there and put more stuff in the mj.
  8. Awesome work, very clean. Keep the pics coming.
  9. Sorry I didn't look at your profile, I was just remember helping my brother strip furniture and I just about passed out and my brother was laughing at me. Didn't mean to sound snooty. I was impressed with all you did in an apartment, I would have had some drywall repair to do getting that stuff in and out.
  10. Nice work, great to see another one saved from doom. Keep up the great work and keep posting, the more pics, the better!
  11. Wow Wow Wow. Amazing work. Look forward to everything you do. One of my alltime favorites. I can't even tell what my favorite part/picture is. The detail is amazing. Thanks for the inspiration.
  12. Great work man, hope it keeps moving forward. I'm glad you moved your truck to a shop. I was worried that there might be kids above you,(fumes from strippers are very costic) but it's taken care of. Even though you've had to change plans, it looks like it is moving forward. I prefer stock mj's myself and I think there are a few more "purists" lurking around. Take care and keep up the good work!
  13. Nice find and great price also. Are the flames painted or stickers? Also, don't understand the po adding the handles behind the door. They might make more sense after the lift!
  14. 2 more things to make it the ultimate grandpa jeep. A turn handle on the steering wheel and a compass mouted on the dash.
  15. Welcome to the club. Let the mj madness begin! Mine has only lasted 24 years! Good luck and great find, haven't seen it, but just because it's an mj.
  16. Forgot to ask before, any pics of the engine in the truck? Thanks
  17. Wow, great work. I spent 2k just getting mine painted, will have to wait to have the engine redone, hopefully as well as yours. Looks like it is all done, but do you have any more plans?
  18. For the Jeep stickers, try a sign company. The same guy did mine twice, ten years apart. If they do small jobs, they can knock it out quick and cheap. He charged me $25 for the tailgate letters and comanche stickers and he put them on!
  19. Congrats! And thanks for saving all those mj's!
  20. That is awesome work. Rust will have a very difficult time getting back in/on that jeep!
  21. Awesome work, well worth the wait! Nice job of going original. What's next?
  22. Go for it. If it does really have just 125k on the ticker, you might have that much and more left. Check for rust above the rear wheel wells, inside and out. If you buy it, any parts you need from the doors back might be a little hard to find. Be sure to strip any mj in the nearby jy's for future parts. Good luck.
  23. Great work! Having the fire ext. gives peace of mind, hoping it's never used and if it is used, it is needed on someone else's rig. Keep the pics coming, and that is one very unique jeep, something I wouldn't have done but I like it!
  24. Welcome to the club and X3 on the color scheme. I am biased toward grey/silver with charcoal/black accent. Also, great look with the new tires and wheels. I am glad I have always chosen to put the whitewall on the inside! Nice truck and look forward to future mods. Buck.
