  1. R12 to r134 to r20/400/500 all are different gauges. Also why contaminate what ever they were using the gauge set previously?
  2. You might also check to see what his gauges are, different refrigerants take different gauges

Ace used to have the old style cutting machine, you'll have to find an older one. Or a locksmith
  13. Coil sends spark to dist. Distributor distributes spark to cylinders, double check rotor is seated all the way, no play in dist shaft, make sure rotor is spinning when cranking
  14. spark? fuel pressure?
  15. it will crack internally hopefully it is not cracked.
  16. change the filter hoses and clamps, its probably an old hose that has cracked due to the cold. you might want to make sure the block did not crack with water and freezing temps, get that thing inside to thaw out then drain the water and get some antifreeze in it if no damage
  17. High today of 15, yesterday's high -5 low of -15. Needless to say not much got done yesterday other then shovel snow. At least I'm not in the north like Montana
  18. plugs look fine, but the gap looks a bit big
  19. but you need to check spark and fuel when the issue occurs
  20. Can be bought at any parts store or harbor freight
  21. If you can move the ground with your hand, that's an issue, remove both battery cables clean the cables and the terminals, reinstall the cables and tighten them with a wrench
  22. Did it do this before the cable upgrade? If not I would be double triple checking everything that you touched. You've checked for fuel how about spark?
  23. Purchased Also looks like they fixed the author mix up
  24. That is tight
  25. A pillar or door trim? I'm going to assume door trim. I would check the screw tightness, those push pins will wear out with age, might just replace and see what it does.
