No pictures but I got some great CL deals today! $120 WJ Lower Control arms, What looks like nearly new WJ discs, Akebono Calipers, Knuckles, Caliper brackets, and drag link $60 XJ Front Factory Skid plate, passenger and driver seat belt latches, good condition center console lid with working latch.

I second the R2.8. However, I am not sure what Italy's emissions laws are. The 2.8 was never a factory installed engine in anything and is only regulated to 1999 US EPA standards on repower.

It is super confusing =P. Yeah I was talking about the 3-piece grill assembly for the later (91+) Jeeps. Hell even my 89 has a 3-piece on it as it was cheaper to just buy that then try and find a complete 7-piece in good condition.

I found a set from FB but the 3-piece headers are not compatible with the older bezels.

Currently, I am likely going to buy them from 88MJsally but I am waiting for them to return home from the holidays. If that falls through I will message you.

If you have both sides I need both of the surrounds for a 3-piece style grill. Painted or black. They will be painted red when I paint the truck. OEM only and not cracked (have cracked ones I can repair if need be).

Can't seem to find any axles near me with 760x compatible axle shafts. I need a whole axle with 3.55 gears. May be willing to buy just axle shafts to convert a seemingly highly available 260x axle.

Anyone have them?

I had a roommate who locked his keys in his running car... Drove 20 minutes to unlock his car with a coat hanger... In my old 89 with vent windows, the latch mechanism could be turned with your thumb from the outside and I would just open the vent and unlock the Jeep. Also the ignition was busted and would turn by hand so I rarely carried keys for that thing.

I am an emissions researcher, Catalyst coatings have not changed significantly since 1981 and all catalysts that focus on hydrocarbon reduction (Gasoline three-way and Diesel Oxidation Cat) can be poisoned by zinc. It was not a huge issue until vehicles started getting better and surpassing the old 100k and 150k mile durability limits as the zinc introduced to a cat through oil consumption is relatively low even with a high ZDDP%. Modern anti-wear additives and break-in lubricants are just as good as old high ZDDP oils and lubricants. Additionally, the break-in period for his camshaft even if he used a high ZDDP break-in lube should not be super bad but he will want to change the oil relatively quickly to a standard oil to preserve his cat.
