  1. My truck will be: Epoxy Primer: Eastwood Primer: Nason Bodyfiller: Evercoat Paint: Nason Colorado Red Clear: PPG European speed clear How my truck was painted: Its not yet...
  2. Not a whole lot. I think base weight without mods is something like 3200 lbs for a short bed 4wd?
  3. Talk about the middle of literally nowhere...
  4. My van is a salvage rebuilt I think it is an easy process in texas but not sure about KY.
  5. So I picked this thing up and I am going to clean it up and get it back on the road. it has been sitting since 2008... So far I replaced the battery, did a very careful removal of 13 years of tree sap and other crap (took me 2 days and like 25 microfibers to take it all off without ruining the paint), and pulled the fuel pump/sender. Next up is to replace the fuel pump, oil the cylinder walls, clean the tank, and try and get the thing to start.

    wood stoves

My grandfather still heats his house with wood at 75 years old... He lives on a wooded 5 acre plot and anything that falls on his or his neighbors plots he chainsaws it, loads it in the truck, and brings it back to the wood splitter. Now granted he has electric heat and I would probably do the same if I didn't have gas... I am not sure what stove he has but I know it is an insert with dual blowers and cast iron doors. He does the "crack the door, get it stoking hot, then reload" so I guess that is the right way to do it? I do not use my fireplace as it would absolutely need an insert to be useful at all and given the "quality" of my 70s house, and the fact that I have been inside the chimney casing on the "zero clearance" fire place... Yeah I don't want to risk it =P
  7. I have one with a small crack in the fiberglass but again TX to Florida...
  8. 1. My MJ but back together... 2. A later model sienna with AWD 3. Africa Twin 4. Some beater that gets rotated out whenever I get bored.
  9. My very early 1991 has pins...
  10. Mini, did you see my PM?
  11. It is Texas. All of my Comanches had no title. Getting a bonded title is trivial. I did 2 in 2020, and another one in 2018. It costs an extra $150 and has about 3 extra steps to it.
  12. I object to the new title... It should be "So what projects are y'all working on?" Inclusive and just easier to say =P
  13. Yes... I used the same excuse... And probably got the same eye-roll and lecture =P
  14. Imho its worth a third of the asking price at most...
  15. I mean it was $600 so I really couldn't not buy it.
  16. The mechanic knew nothing about it just that it had been sitting on the lot for 10 years... So far I know it needs a battery, tires, and a fuel pump.
  17. Horrible picture but I ended up buying it. Couldn't resist.
  18. Nevermind found a number in an old message from him. #54 which has already been found.
  19. I know of one that is not in the registry but I am having trouble getting a hold of the guy again. Basically he had one, it got into an accident, he rebuilt it but the accident destroyed most of the body kit so he just went regular comanche with it. But he owned it over a decade ago when they were not as rare. I know it got repainted to white after the accident not sure on original color. I do not know which number it is.
  20. Might have a chance to buy one fairly cheap. It is a black 1996, owner died, sitting at a mechanics shop, no title (obviously). I don't really have a need for one but it might be a nice fix and flip if I can get it really cheap.
  21. It has a Pokemon headliner.
  22. The late 1991s and 1992 eliminators had those wheels.
