I ordered enough pins from DelCity to do my fusevlock but the 4 pole ones are back ordered (and have been for 45 days) if anyone has a supply of them I am willing to buy some.
I am 99.9% sure they only changed when the doors changed in 1997. 95 and 96 changes were only the cross brace in the floorboard, an additional crash beam in the older style doors, drivers air bags, different seats, and in 1996 OBD2-ish
No. Well not easily...
First problem is that the bellhousings are different. You can use a bell housing off a 2.5L manual trans dakota to match up to an AX-15 (can't confirm for your BA-10 as listed above).
2nd problem is the BA-10 is notoriously weak. If you are going to find a transmission that is worth swapping you will want a 1989.5 or newer comanche or Cherokee (or wrangler) with an AX-15 and a proper bell housing.
Front axle will swap over but there are some other issues. The front axle in you 1987 is a less desirable disconnect axle and unless the gears have been swapped it is 3.07 gears. Your 2.5L with 4spd is going to have a higher gear ratio than that so they won't match front to rear.
I have a galley kitchen... It is... Well... Absolutely awful... Plan is to knock down the wall to the "dining room" and build out a real kitchen at some point.
I have had this happen twice on two different jeeps. I have good luck welding a bolt upside down at the top of the shift lever to fix it without a later failure.
So depending on where you work most places are willing to use the "account" for your employer with a "pay on delivery" which means if you pick it up you can use a card. Your employer does not get charged and does not get a receipt, nor does your employer actually care if you are buying nuts and bolts from fastenal.
If it was just me? Yeah I would do it. We live in about 1700 sqft of the house and the other 500sqft is rented out. At one point I had all of the bedrooms rented out (4 adults sharing 1700 sqft. That was a bit tight.
Personally, my life trajectory is likely to stay living in 1500-2500 sqft 2 of us and a dog. Probably attached 2-car and a big shop out back... Or that is the plan...
