  1. I know , all this work just to do more work ... :rotf: I am making room for your MJ bed in there , picked up the axle today . :wavey:
  2. I found a couple pics from a design I did a year ago . Ring was actually a mold from the customers original designs .
  3. The gears will be a plus for sure , I really like the way it changed my truck , I'm using 3rd , 4th and 5th a whole lot more but it picks up the tires no problem almost to the point of tearing up my 31"s I need 33's so bad .
  4. Cool , I'd like to see what you come up with .
  5. Thank you Rob , Allot of people think its a white collar job but its more like a blacksmith trade , dirty , greasy and expensive to learn . Its allot like being a welder except on a micro scale . The working of metal is very similar at a whole so things like forging , casting , shaping and forming are all similar practices in my trade . Most of wich is still done by hand the old way ( Hammer and Anvil ) the way it always has been done . Newer practices like " Lost wax " casting wich the Romans invented are more widely used in Jewelry fabrication now a days . I still cold forge everything I can for strength and durability . I don't wear very many pieces but my wedding ring but whatever I make is designed to last period . I wear my ring doing everything from welding , working on my truck , wrenching a motorcycle or installing tile in our house I'm pretty much a Jack of all master of one ... ;)
  6. I'm working on designs now but the prices will probably start at 30.00 US and up depending on cost of materials and production costs . Most of the rings will be like 45-55.00 . I'll have some designs up soon .
  7. I don't know about that. mine tend to get better looking as darkness approaches. :rotfl2:
  8. Exactly, I've made or should I say ( found ) Designs that have copyright laws , but that doesn't stop the shops selling fake Gucci handbags and Rolex's made in China . I'm not selling this as a profitable product for the masses but as a gift to the Comanche Nation , I've been through all this before with Harley Davidson , their product control is one of the worst , they would rather sell their costumers ( who have money ) Mexican and Chinese mass produced crap than offer them a high quality piece of merchandise their customers would be proud to own . I know because my Dad and I made our own ..er I mean ... found our own .. :shake: Needless to say I've been FINDING designs of HD stuff for years . So maybe I'll FIND an AMC design somewhere ... :D
  9. Sure I'm still working on CAD for the MJ stuff but here are a couple of things I've always liked : A sharks tooth pendant I made that weighed over an ounce of solid gold . An Eternity ring I hand forged from Palladium and Gold : I've got thousands of pics of stuff on a hard drive , I'm still trying to find them .
  10. Yep ' , Goldsmith / Fabricator for over 18 years .
  11. I have Ceramic material now a days , mostly in rings and watches now but in the last couple of years more and more product is becoming available . High grade ceramics are almost as hard as tungsten steel , lighter than titanium and holds 0 conductivity . Pretty much an old NASA material that they found a market niche for . The re-atomization of this material is actually higher than a Diamond . Sorry , little bit too much techy there . Ceramic would be cool, but I love my aerospace grade Titanium wedding band. CAN YOU SAY 180,000 PSI TENSILE STRENGTH BROTHER!!!! (in my best wrestler voice) Yeah , I heard the " Hulk " comin' through there . :clapping: Yes Titanium in higher grade alloys are superior to most but the surface hardness is actually softer than most steels but the weight and metal memory is unsurpassed , not to mention a built in Hypo-allergenic property . This is a set of pics of a ceramic and titanium ring . Titanium was inlayed with carbon fiber . I'm still working on the Jeep designs , I should have them done in a couple of days .
  12. Trucks always look better in the sunlight .. Working on bumpers and tail lights next with some body work coming soon after .
  13. :clapping: I actually put them in a paper towel roll with my hand at the end and blew them out to stick on the vertical part of the counter . Red neck spray gun ... Next time I'll try it your way .
  14. Yeah the price is low enough but I bet if you check some of the local welding shops you can get a one off bumper custom tailored to your needs . Or buy a welder and make one yourself . Thats what I'm about to do ....
  15. Nope CO truck , CO emissions its been here all its life ! :dunno:
  16. Thanks , after the clear coat it ended up being real hard and durable . This is the paint I used , soon will be going on the floor . I don't have as nice of a place as I would like but it makes a real nice place to take pics . :chillin:
  17. The spring over will set you at about six inches witch will work with 35"s , there is no nasty clip under there like the front that shreds up the tire , besides the fender bolts .
  18. I found a couple of pics of my rear brake lines and other random shots of the D44 Tera disc brake backing plates and SYE shaft for reference by request . Got some more pics the other day , for those Military guys behold NORAD :
  19. I recently started another couple of projects related to the MJ , however in the midst of trying to complete some of the other projects I found myself unable to do anything or for the least part be productive . I've always had to many things to do and not enough time to do it . Anyway I figured you guys would like to see what I did with my garage . .....and I wondered why I couldn't get anything done ! So I decided to clean things up a little so I won't be so worthless all the time . I couldn't find anything anymore and I was too ashamed to throw pics up of my workspace . I found some garage paint I picked up for another project and started painting , then I went hay-wire  1970's nasty counter top / workbench , before : After : So now I have a nice surface to work with and take pics of my progress on . Oh" I got it all done in enough time to go hit a bucket of balls ...
  20. Here you go : Hope that helps .
  21. Best dollar he ever made .... :agree:
  22. I feel so bad man , I completely forgot to upload the pics you asked me for , I'll get one of mine to ya tomorrow . :fool:
  23. I've never had a clearance issue with the rear , what lift and size tires are you trying to run ?
  24. Man , thank you for the service ! Its kinda ironic that the injuries I had were all non combat related , I got a spider bite back in Ft. Benning during AIT , I still have the scars today over ten years later . Those little fuggers are nasty , I think a bullet wound heals better . Nice to see your still alive , if you ever come up to CO give me a shout . Airborne INF , HOAH !
