This is more funny to me in a comforting way. Back story: My grandmother passed away 2 years ago and as a result my grandfather had to move into assisted living and sell the house that my grandparents had their whole life. They were very proud of their house they bought and paid for and raised 6 kids in including my dad. The people that bought their house completely ruined it with trash and garbage all over the yard (hoarder but not the good kind) and its pretty run down now. I went to show one of my cousins that lives in another state so I looked up the address on Google maps. It turns out that Google hasn't updated the image in like 11 years or something like that and street view shows my grandfather watering the flowers in the front yard. I hope they never change it. Current overhead view 😢

In the summer of 2009 I was doing odd jobs for the summer and some rich guy hired me strictly to remove poison Ivy from his property. He paid me $40 an hour. I bit the bullet and went all in hand cutting the stuff off his property (insurance agency building) job took 4 weeks it never effected me until the last week. I started to get itchy on the Tuesday and by Friday night I was in the hospital with my eyes swollen shut. They had to give me a steroid shot. Stuff is nasty be careful.

I can ask my boss if he has a whole seat cheap. Maybe a nice one from a right hand drive jeep. What color are yours agate?

One of the highlights of my life was visiting my uncle in Arizona back in 2005. One of the places we visited was apache junction and superstition mountain. I'm dieing to go back. I've been doing some research and saw that apache junction has a few modified mjs they use for tours. When we went we only saw the tj they had parked at the trail head. Pretty neat.

Just a reminder we are about a month away from this. Although I don't think j we will need it I am going to set up a reservation at wright's farm about 1 week in advance so I would like to get a final count sooon

I'm glad you were able to use the bed. I honestly didnt see any of that stuff wrong with it the day you and I looked it over at the shop. That truck was an island truck. It came from Jamestown and the guy only used it to haul his trash off the island since there is no dump. If I recall the milage was 31k but the unibody was rotted in half.

I vote mild build with 3" lift 31s rock sliders.....basically build this but long bed. Doesn't have to be perfect. Hell, you've seen mine in person and it's not even near perfect. mines got dents and scratches and is a 15 ft truck but I just enjoy it for what it is. Your truck would make a perfect mild build/wheeler in my opinion. It's got enough flaws where you won't feel bad modifying it a with aftermarket front bumper or giving it a tiny boo-boo (like a scratch from a a tree branch on a trail) but nice enough to keep from doing a full out off road build like hacking the fenders/flatbedding it. Just my two cents.

What kinds of problems are the originals causing for people? I'm just curious because I haven't noticed. Do they stop a rattle or something? I just haven't noticed a need to replace mine. I've never had an issue with the straps guiding themselves back into place either. I'll probably buy anyway set from either supplier eventually.
