alright man ill do my best, i get very confused by wiring though haha
THANKS
It ain't rocket science. Unplug plugs. Clean any corrosion off. Spray with contact cleaner. Plug back in.
Perform a vacuum test for exhaust restriction. Tip 16.
I've seen the guts of the converter melt into a ball and roll around inside, sometimes clogging the exhaust.
That ground strap on the firewall needs to be in excellent shape in order for the sensors/ECU to do their job.
The hoses to the intake manifold below the throttle body are notorious leakers. Worth looking at, as are the intake manifold bolts.
Correct on both points, especially the first one.
If I could post a video for you, I would........
Send me the video and I'll post it up.
What a buddy!! You don't know about daring me, do you? More to follow.......
You don't wanna hear my butt dyno, let alone smell it.
That said, I would venture to say the Renix has the most to gain as it goes from 52mm to 60mm versus 58mm to 60mm or 62mm for an HO.
Communicated with Jeff Leigh of www.strokedjeep.com this morning.
He still does the Renix throttle bodies but has none in stock to ship right now. 2 week to a month wait.
Could be a bad TPS.
Of the Tips in my link below, how many have you done?
I haven't done any.
Do 1,3,4, and 5 to begin with. Could be the cause of your random idle
Uh, no.
You should adjust the TPS per my instructions in post 8 of my Tips, after making sure the throttle butterfly stop screw is set correctly as in post 14.
I don't have a late model throttle body hanging around so I can see how they're set up or I could be of more help.
What IAC connector are you using and how is it wired?
