  1. Yes. Remove the heater control valve and put a splice in it's place. Plug the vacuum line that goes to it.
  2. That's just it. You can't really "tell". You just have to be thorough and go through the procedures.
  3. Low fuel pressure causes all sorts of issues. Yes, do yourself a favor and do those Tips also.
  4. Index the distributor.
  5. Higher than .5 on the CPS is wonderful!! Re-open the C101 and tweak the connectors so they grab the pins better.
  6. Click on the link below and do Tips 1 through 5.
  7. Move all the relays down one position and see what happens.
  8. Where's the level at now? Maybe just add gas?
  9. You could always do Tip # 27...... But, tweak the terminals anyway.

  14. You have the C101 connector, don't you? See Tip 2. Then look at 27.
  15. Sounds weird to have tape inside a throttle body. I have a new one I could go look at if you want me to.

  18. You are testing the tPS on the Engine side?
  19. Which Tips have you completed? What's the tube from the throttle body to MAP look like? Have you pulled the distributor cap and had a gander inside? Are things turning in there?

  21. Well stated and exactly right. The bonus is the 40% increase in headlamp output. The harness is easier to install and only a bit more expensive than a head light switch, too.
  22. There is a known problem with voltage drop through the switch. The proven fix is the supplemental harness.
