  1. Coil was replaced.
  2. I am working on getting pics on the ad http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/4795046678.html
  3. I'm done messing with the thing, posted it on craigslist. Someone with more knowledge can take over.
  4. We have tested it all over the place. lol
  5. It has the 91 flex plate in it. We haven't checked codes. It has everything that came off the 91 motor.
  6. I have a 1991 4.0 Comanche that has a 88 Cherokee motor swap. When it was swapped everything on the old 91 was put on the 88. Now it won't start. We changed the computer, dizzy, cap and rotor, wires, tried two new cranks sensors and flexplate. It will crank but not fire. The spark goes snap snap snap snap snap snap. Anyone have any ideas why it won't spark like it should?
  7. We will go on a parts hunt and change this one up then. Thanks
  8. Would it be easier to swap computers? I am a old ford guy, so everything is carbs. This stuff is all new to me.
  9. The motor and transmission are both 88, and it's automatic. We're trying to plug this all into the 91 wiring harness.
  10. That was my thought, but I wasn't sure if they were interchangeable. Thanks
  11. I bought a 1991 Comanche that has a 1988 Cherokee 4.0 in it. I can get it to crank, but no fire. The crank sensor plug has power to it, but the plug on the wiring harness is different than the one on the motor. The wiring harness has three wires, the other has two. Any ideas?
