  2. Just a thought here, make sure that distributor isn't locked up on the cam gear.
  3. C104_G Starter Relay (coil) GND
  4. That seems to sum it up. Let me add the canister vents the fuel tank vapors and pressure to the atmosphere through the charcoal, through the filter (if good) and out the bottom. Under this condition the bottom is an outlet.
  5. Maybe this thread can help. Check out the utube video. @MississippiComanche

    AI renderings

'AI' is young and still learning. Just ask John Connor.
  7. One more fuse to check. TRANS (7.5A).
  8. Wire (GRN) between Starter Relay and IGN SW is shown as going to the RUN dot, should connect at the START dot.
  9. If both continuity checks between (C267_5 - SR "I" wire) and (SR GND wire - battery negative) are 0Ωs, then I'd disconnect all wiring at the SR and look for continuity between each terminal and SR metal case. Still a problem here.
  10. @NickInTimeFilms is a big time JEEP RENIX guy. His vehicle was an AUTO trans. With trans selector NOT in P or N, 5vdc from the ECU could appear on the SR GND wire. Only a continuity test between the IGN SW (C267_5) and the "I" wire at the SR will prove out the wiring. NOTE: C267 can be labled pin5 or pinS, depending on where you look.
  11. Don't understand that one, unless SR case is shorted to GND internally. Still doesn't answer why you needed to connect GND terminal to ground or why you have no + on the IGN wire during engine CRANK.
  12. Okay. KEY OFF. Remove the GND wire on the SR and connect the GND terminal on the SR to a good ground. Try jumping battery voltage on the "I" terminal again. Does Starter Motor engage?
  13. With the wire off, connect battery voltage straight to the SR terminal, on the SR. Not sure here if that's what you did. Use CAUTION.
  14. Good sign. KEY OFF. Remove the wire from the IGN relay terminal at the Starter Relay (SR). Jump battery voltage to the open terminal on the SR. CAUTION: VEHICLE COULD LUNGE IF IN GEAR. Does Starter Motor engage?
  15. With KEY ON/START does D2_4 show voltage?
  16. Check your wiring against this. Looks like GRN (IGN) and BLK w/tr are swapped.
  17. I'm not sure LEDs draw current on SHUT OFF, but instead they drain current on SHUT OFF.
  18. Still looking. ebay sold out.
  19. 6 cylinder
  20. Not trying to be a smart a$$ here, but a filthy air filter can allow manifold vacuum to enter the air box.

    &^$*&%$@ Engineers

I've always hated it when the starter motor was the first thing to go down the assembly line and everything bolted up to it.
