I live in the ‘land of curbs’ eventually all white lettering on the right side of the vehicle gets scuffed. Be careful if you do. Get some curb finders.
Disconnect C157. Look for Brake or TS voltage on IC harness side of C157_E. If you get voltage problem lies towards TS sockets, if NO voltage, problem lies towards TS SW.
This one makes me wonder.
KEY OFF. Depress Brake pedal. Using the Turn Signal SW (L/R) can you TURN OFF each sides brake light? This will check a couple of the TS switches.
Truthfully, I think your idle kick was caused by the O2S dropping out, causing the ECU to go from Open Loop (OL) to Close Loop (CL) or attempting to go from CL to OL. Either way, CPS or O2S, hope this solved your problem.
Without the use of a REM (Renix Engine Monitor + unit is out of stock), it will be hard to tell. Wiggle testing is about the best you can do. Perform @cruiser54 testing.

If idle improves the more you START and RUN your vehicle, could be ECU is relearning itself.
If not, check TPS adjustment.
