Don. I didn't know that there was a message storage area or that mine was full. I just deleted 14,763 messages. Try again. Jim

This is Colorado. Where am I going to get a rusted MJ? Now if someone has a dashboard, with VIN tag and title they're willing to sell...........
-
Thanks for the try but already been down that route. The requirements are so impractical that it's just not worth the effort.
-
I have a couple MJ'S with no title. They're not hot. The title just got lost in time and changing owners. At one time there were several places that advertised they could replace a title, for a fee of course. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for a lost title? When I lived in New Mexico it was easy to get a bond title. In Colorado it's almost impossible to replace a lost title unless you were the last registered owner. Can any one help? Although it does make a good excuse to part one out. I'd just rather not do that.

Dana 35 3.08 Diff Questions/help!
jimoshel replied to starkizer's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
You are correct. You have a 3.08 ratio. Spider gears are immaterial to the ratio. Ring gear and pinion all that counts. They can be changed to whatever you want, IE< afford.Type Jeep ring gear and pinion in the search box of your browser. You'll be inundated with responses. Quadratec.com has a nice selection. I mention them because I have their catalog on the desk looking at the chick,,,er,,,Jeep on the front cover. -
Oil Pressure After Oil & Filter Change
jimoshel replied to guckingfuy's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
First thing to do would be to check the pressure with another gauge, preferably a standard or one that's been calibrated and compare readings. My DD 2.5 reads 40PSI regardless of revs. -
Nope. Just once

Saw this and just had to pass it on. That's the window crank. And from what I saw on the rest of the truck, that's the best part on it.

Pugeot Question/ General Tranny Questions
jimoshel replied to Oddmodman's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Must agree. I have 3 XJ and 4 MJ with the dreaded BA10 and over 200k. Still driving as good as the day they left the factory. Just because something isn't as good as something else doesn't mean it's junk. Anything will break if abused.Yes the AX 15 is better but that doesn't automatically make the BA10 junk.- 21 replies

Hmmmm, Seems to have done the trick. Thank You Alexia

Noisy lifter is probably one of the most frustrating things to cure. Sometimes the best solution is to just replace it. I've had noisy lifters of every kind at one time or another , with different cures working for them. The most stubborn was a 389 Pontiac. Noisy lifter, Cold, warm, hot, idle hi rev, all the same. Tried all the cures, thicker oil, thinner oil, Lucas, STP, Marvel Mystery, etc, etc. No joy. Finally removed the valve cover and determined for sure the bad lifter. Turned the engine until that pushrod was at the highest point. Took a BAH and smacked it a good one. Fixed it right up. Worth a try.

That ain't it. Made doubly sure I'm hitting the 'quote'
-
That was the first thing I thought of. Nope. Multiple quotes is for quoting from different sources, I think. Maybe.
-
How come when I quote someone, i get a double quote? How come I can't edit or delete one of them?
-
Surely sir, you jest!!

What can I say. Had one when I was a kid. Brought back memories. Mine had a flat head 320 Ford. This one has a 302 Ford. Can't wait to get started on it.
