  1. Would it happen to help with an over 3" lift?
  2. I am too, so I just hit the "all topics read button" and yelled alot.
  3. So the thread is started (post #1), someone responds (post #2), someone else responds (post #3). It should look like this: Post #1 Post #2 Post #3 Are my settings wrong, cause it shows me this: Post #3 Post #1 Post #2 Or in one case: Post #1 Post #2 Post #3 Post #6 Post #7 Post #4 Post #5
  4. What the heck, 2 posts that were before me just landed after me... This time too...
  5. The grade 5 thing is what it was. I believe they slipped a grade 5 bolt in, but it was a grade 8 on the other side, then the bolt snapped, the coilover tweaked, ripped off, axle busted a link, and so on... Why do my posts keep going to the top of the page?
  6. Are you trying to put the alternator where the AC was? I know on my '86 the alternator options were of 2, and the only difference was the mounting hole was relocated.
  7. That pack is made out-of-house and is well rated.
  8. All longbeds work with all longbeds, all shortbeds work with shortbeds. For the price of shipping and the chance you'll have of someone selling a bed, that doesn't sound bad. Currency converter says 400 CAD = 355.25 USD.
  9. Maybe run those 3" coils you have with a 1.something" spacer. That's what I'm doing for 4.25" lift. Personally, I don't know anyone that's busted any arms of any brands, but I'm sure this comment will get anyone who's had problems to jump in.
  10. 1) I've never seen a new Comanche before. 2) I've never seen a yellow Comanche before. 3) B!tchin
  11. And you've gotta make new shock mounts.
  12. What are you looking at in a kit that you don't currently have. I noticed your sig says you have a 3" lift, do you have new LCAs, or is that something you're going to need to buy? If you already have some of the parts, then take that into consideration when looking for a different lift.
  13. Wow, it was like a lil baby that got all grown up! Diggin the rims. Are they the ones with the lighter lip, or are they the lighter colored ones?

    New Guy

Welcome to the club! Your wife has good taste.
  15. 4.0L? Seems like everyone had been guessing on how much they'd lift. It's nice to see some good evidence.
  16. From this post, http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=551&start=0, I gathered that stock hub center to flare was approximately 20" give or take an inch. Did your truck become lowered?
  17. Depends on how much you want to get into it, I think, time, effort, and $$ whise.
  18. No wires, no AC, and no vacuum lines I think is what makes it look so different. And the bling. Definitely find our what's been done to it. Good luck!
  19. Now there's something I never knew. Are most Jeep rims made by them?
  20. I went to the dealership today for parts, first time, and the guy had to check with me that it was a pickup cause he didn't think Jeep made one. The Comanche is an unknown breed.
  21. Like bra size?
  22. Are her articles informative, or are they "that part looks best black", and "shiny rims are neat" articles?
  23. It probably isn't the factory manual as Pete said, but if it's 10 bucks, that's less than a Chiltons and you've probably got the engine covered and more at a far better quality. Do it !
