Check into traffic school. In OR, pretty much any ticket you get, you can go to traffic school and it'll leave your record, as long as you haven't been to TS in 3 years and you weren't doing something ridiculous like 50 in a 35. Oh Snap! Jk, that ticket's not bad. Speeding here is also a $252 fine.

The end of the solid front axle is coming though... With a component no longer on the factory market, it will eventually fade from the aftermarket.

Is this ceramic piece important?

Quick threadjack. Should my '86 2.5 have one of those? -
If they're in it for the money, they'll probably sell the Jeep name, or all Jeeps will turn into the Compass. That's what the general public wants or seems to want.

Front Coil Spring Bump Stops
feerocknok replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
You want to slide it Between the coil wraps? Huh, that wouldn't work with my coils. Eagle, how did you persuade them into that? -
x2 on weight distribution.

I've been through there, but usually I was out on the coast (e.g. Gold Beach), and I love to fish. Why, are you offering to host a get-together? :brows: If he was, it'd be sad for me. Started pulling the Manche motor (again) last Sunday! Is there wheeling out there?

Do you have horses? I don't, but a very close friend of mine does. Her family has a stable with something like 120 horses, so horses are a big part of her life, and now mine. But... I ride like crap, and even after all these years, my butt still hurts everytime I have to get off.

I hate lining those things up. Next time I take em off I'm just going to go to radius arms. I have spent HOURS working on getting those back on. Other times they slide into place.

Front Coil Spring Bump Stops
feerocknok replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
With my swaybar and shocks off, I could (with some muscle use) get my 3" coils out and back in. I can't now with my 2" spacers on as well, so if you don't have spacers, you should be alright. -
Thinking that it might be time for another clean start.

Sometimes life takes reflection from the outside. You can't always see what's going on when you're stuck in it. Take a break and reflect, but keep your future in mind when you think about getting rid of all the things around you. Somethings you'll miss. -
Seems like I've been to a couple horse shows in Central Point, which is close, but I don't know if I've ever been to Gold Hill. Google shows it as a Tiny town.

Rubicon Express uses Rusty's coil supplier. Fine coils.

Can you say IRS Wrangler? So who bought it? I just heard real quick on the news last night that it'd be announced but went to bed.
-
They went sideways cause you need to press 'enter' between pictures so they go on different lines. That looks nice in the bed, especially with the box.

How did you fix the console into place?
-
Looks nice! Much better than the staples holding mine up.

What's worth Keeping...

Comanche specific stuff is money. For example, the taillights, tailgate, rear fender flares, b-pillar lights, cargo light, and rear bumper. -
Yeah, $186 in February. They came to my house and installed it.

You can always talk to a different insurance company if you're looking at changing plans. If you do that, you know they are giving you the best rate they can so that they can get ahold of your business. I only run liability due to my possession of so many vehicles and relatively low income. JeepCo, what are the requirements out there for hobbyist plates? In Oregon, you take the vehicle's year (say 1967), subtract 1900 (1967-1900=67), divide that by 2 (67/2=33.5), subtract that number from the current year (2007-33.5=1973.5), and if the vehicle was made before that date, you can get the plates. I want them for the MJ so I'm less likely to be driving it everyday. I didn't build it for that.

Josh, that thing's a beast! Good job. -
I don't usually get pulled over for speeding. It's usually things like driving a suspicious vehicle that they need to look over. If they see that my taillights are too pink, they can pull me over to make sure the rest of the vehicle checks out, or doesn't... I see with them being strictly traffic officers that they would naturally write more tickets on that end of things. I guess it never clicked in my head. Oh well, I got the fix-it ticket fixed, so I can probably go to traffic school for the speeding ticket and get that dropped, and keep my clean record.

Does anyone have a take on why it seems biker cops give more tickets than warnings? I've been pulled over 18 times in the past 2.5 years and have never received a ticket until my last two times being pulled over. Both of these incidents involved biker cops. In the past I was pulled over for little things like my taillights being too pink or my license plate light being out, but also two major things, one being 92 mph on the highway. My first of two recent offenses was for driving my Toyota with "no fenders." That was blatently illegal. The truck seldom does see road time, but hadn't had a bed for 6 months prior to the ticket. Only the biker cop pulled me over to issue a fix-it ticket while patrol cars always just stared at me or gave me a head shake. My last incident was speeding. Didn't mean to, but it happened. 45 in a 25. Yes, it was fast, but I've always been let off with these things when they happened in the past. The biker cop, however, issued me a ticket. I fully respect the local/state law enforcement and appreciate Everything they do! But I'm just curious as to why the only citations that I've been issued are by law enforcement on a particular piece of transportational equipment. As well, many of my friends reside in this same boat.

We have that bumper on our lawn mower! Minus the winch, of course. That's pretty BA
