what vehicle was the front D44 out of that came in your truck? you being the third owner, how can you 100% say it was factory? "that easily may have been a special order" makes me believe you don't have proof, just someones word. also, a dana 60 was not a factory option. like don said, the dealer could have installed one for a person (although i HIGHLY doubt they did). where are the pics?

neat is all i can come up with. cool to have if you had money to burn but don't really see a good use for them. would seem to suck at an offroad park in current form. curious about axles though, they appear to be 44s but can't verify.

Made my own. Homemade mounts using factory mounting holes, and have the side parts tied into the frame.

i was skeptical when i put mine in, but it's really not that bad. i did mine on a bench just to make it easier.

no pics, but was wheeling with a group of buddies. guy completely pretzel-ed his tie rod and he had to drive 5 hours home. luckily it was a stock rod so bending it back into a normal shape was fairly easy. turns out, a hilift jack handle will fit perfectly over a stock tie rod, especially if it still has a slight bend. he ended up never taking that handle off and sold the jeep with it still on there lol.
