I Need A New Valve Cover For 1990 2.5 Liter
mattbuch96 replied to Jeep Meister's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I recently just did the same upgrade, but I like your bolts, any chance you could share where you got them and what bushing and o rings you used? Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I just did the swap. I used one off a 2000 TJ. Good upgrade. Here’s some before and after pics of mine feel free to ask any questions. Make sure you grab the valve cover bolts off the donor because they are a longer than the plastic one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those look like alloy aluminum wheels, I don’t think they will ever rust, but I wouldn’t use a wire wheel. I would get some sort of aluminum polish compound and use a rag or a pad on a drill to polish them. I like the mothers polish, it’s a cream polish. Works really good. I like the price of the Rusty’s, what do you think about Rancho? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Throwing around the idea of upgrading my sway bar. Has any one ever used a ZJ or WJ sway bar swap, it looks possible but I cannot find any input else where. Thanks

You don’t think the rough country fixed LCA won’t last? -
3in suspension lift questions

Thanks for the input, I will not do anything with the drop pitman arm, on the side note, I don’t want to have rubbing on the control arms at full lock, do you think the wj control arms would be better than the rough country fixed control arms? Or vise versa? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Down the road I will be installing Rusty’s 3in lift and 31x10.50r15 tires along with my Napier fender flares, along with the lift I plan to use a xj drop pitman arm, zj tie rod end upgrade, and xj drag link, and Chevy drop shackles. My questions for you are is it necessary to get rough country’s fixed lower control arms or will do the Wj lower control arms be okay? Is there any sway bar upgrades like a Zj part? Thanks guys! Dang, mine is 117.35 yearly in Indiana. I feel like it is way over priced. $12 in vehicle taxes, $20 county tax, $25 municipal tax, $30.35 registration fee, and $15 TLL fee. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys pay for annual registration for your Comanches? Mine is about the same for my daily driver which is 25yrs newer than my Comanche? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do you have the autozone part number for the chevy drop shackles? Thanks. -
I would like to find a set as well, you are right about being a center brace, this is what I found. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay sounds good, I just wanted to make sure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It sounds like you know the idea of back spacing. My question is will my tires rub anywhere if I get 31in tires with this back spacing? They are a 15x7 rim. I have trimmed the fenders already for my Napier fender flares. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not sure about that I want to say they are 3.55, I don't want to steer you in the wrong way. You can check the tag on your differential. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To me it looks like a 35, the 8.25 have a flat spot in the bottom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
