  1. IDK... I'm gonna stick with my big 4 but my mom had a 69 Dodge Dart with a slant 6 and that thing ran forever.
  2. want to buy the breather elbow for this 2.5L aluminum valve cover must be in good shape.
  3. Got it done :) Been driving it for a few days looks good no leaks. Got that crappy Fram filter off and my new Bosch one put on too. Here are some pics .
  4. Polished it inside and out with mineral oil and emery-cloth. Thats your old VC Harley. Cut out a gasket out of ABC1835 Cork / Rubber Rollpack
  5. Hmmm idk then. I know when i first got my Comanche the rear wheel cylinder was leaking and i had it fixed and the old fluid that leaked out combined with dirt caked up on the inside of the rim and had to be scraped out with a putty knife and rebalanced. idk what the exact cause of your tire wobble is but it sounds like a tire out of balance. i know sometimes with the style rims you have got you got to get in the inside of the rim really good with a pressure washer because mud and debris can get caught in the inside grove of the rim and cause the tire to become out of balance. You might even try runnin a putty knife around the inside of the rim...idk just throwin ideas out there for ya... hope you can find out what is causing that wobble. I like your hood scoop. I'm out here in Woodland Washington just patchen up this old Comanche i got.
  6. Sounds like you got a tire out of balance. You might have lost a balance weight or have some dirt packed in some were you can't see
  7. Well I'm looking for an aluminum one that is in good shape that will fit a 1990 Comanche 2.5L if any one has one for sale. Just let me know what you want for it and maybe send a pic or 2 I'll pay for shipping cost
  8. I did the swap out for aluminum. Good bye plastic :waving: Looks good no leaks
  9. I know they make them for the straight six. But yeah i did not know they made them for the 4 banger. Maybe they did back in the day but i don't think they do anymore but then again idk.
  10. I hate plastic too. :fs1: Who ever decided to make them out ABS plastic injection molded should be smacked up side the head :thwak:
  11. well the one i tried to get at quadratec was $39.99 plus shipping and it was the cheapest i could find. $40.00-$50.00 i think would be ideal for me but if not maybe we can work out a deal. I'll meet in the middle of that and offer $45.00 plus shipping cost
  12. Yeah hi Harley I'm interested. Let me know how much you want for it.
