  1. B. Having multiple cars can be a huge PITA. The left over money not being put into a second vehicle would go towards upkeep and gas in the one you have. Just make sure you get something reliable.
  2. didnt even see it the first time i looked at the pics. That roof rack sure does disguise the shortness of it.
  3. Yes I always keep my eyes open for them. And I found out he still owns it and has had several people ask him to buy it off him over the years.
  4. Image Not Found My dad and my two cousins the summer of 02.
  5. I don't believe he does. Only been there about a year and his jeep is still here in VA. I'll let him know.
  6. So one of my Christmas presents from my mom this year was a family vacation picture book from a trip we went on as a family just over 10 years ago. During the trip we stopped at my aunts house in Missoula, Montana. Apparently her husband at the time had a grey mj. I did not realize this until, looking through the book, I spotted a beautiful truck in the background. I clearly have an issue with always looking for Comanches since I spotted one looking back on the family vacation. Quite a small world. Being so close to my favorite truck when was only 13 and didn't even know I'd love them. I know y'all want the pic and I'm working on it. Just on a different computer. in the meantime: any other stories like this??
  7. I'm out of the 3/2s. I don't want any lift since soa provided as much as I'm looking for. And new springs will be slightly higher than saggy old ones ;) Put me down for a 3/1 or 4/1 depending on which ones are popular with stock height and the wrap
  8. That's becoming true for girls all the way down to middle school as well. I see these 12 year olds with faces in their iPhones all the time. Sad sad sad
  9. Congrats!
  10. That's all you've done in over a month? I guess if that's all there is to update, might as well let us know bout it.
  11. What's the difference between 3/2 and 4/1? And if there's enough interest I'll do the 3/1 as my first choice. Not looking for more lift just didn't think those would have the same interest.
  12. The best man at my upcoming wedding live in ok city. He doesn't have a my but he's got a 92 yj that's pretty nice.
  13. Anybody have info on how the 3/2 would flex? I get that they are much stiffer than stock but I still want some flex.
  14. Anybody have good info on how the MT springs flex? If they flex decent (I need as much as I can with leaf springs) then I'd be in for a set for sure.
  15. the 4.0 was offered in both years but yours is the renix 4.0 and 91-92 had the HO 4.0. Not sure of the specific differences, I just know they were made different.
  16. :hmm: why. thats all i have to say
  17. hmmm. well besides that, it at least looks nice.
  18. I put a 9" in my truck, came out of a friend's bronco he was scrapping. Basically gave it to me. But as far as full width, not a big deal for me, can't notice the difference unless you look right down the side of the body. And for lug pattern, the smart thing (and what I will do if I get new wheels) is to buy wheels that fit the 9" pattern and get adapters for (say a d30 front) whatever front axle you have and the width problem will be a very minimal difference.
  19. That was the first thing I thought and wondered myself when I saw the nice looking pain job.
  20. looks pretty well done
  21. congrats! One sweet rig there
  22. Thanks for the plug Jay. (i am a crutchfield employee). Component sets are by far a better sound, but they are more expensive and more work to install correctly since most cars, including xjs, don't have factory tweeter housings. Also, if you have a limited budget, simple 2 or 3 ways will work with just the deck powering them. They won't sound much, if any, better than factory however. Aftermarket decks have very small built in amps and the speakers can withstand much much more power than those can give. Its not a bad idea to look into a multi-channel amp to go with your speakers at a minimum.
  23. Congrats on the pup. I know how you feel with the time issues. The fiance got 2 pups (brother and sister) about 5 months ago and whenever I'm with her, no time at all for the MJ or computer :( but then again, how can you be mad at these for taking time from the truck: Image Not Found Just hang in there, as they get bigger, so do their bladders, which means fewer trips outside. And they will become more independent.
  24. I cover all religions and say Happy Holidays! Safe travels, and enjoy the family festivities. :MJ 1:
