  1. There's no contact info in the ad. I asked CL to notify the poster of this. Thought I would ask for the VIN and build date.
  2. If the lights are in the front you can get them off a XJ. I have spares but prob not worth it to ship from Utah.
  3. What did the current seller pay for it?

Heya, There are 3 on KSL currently: http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=0&nid=443&tab=list If you don't like those I might sell my '87, but it just failed inspection for Ball joints, e brake and u joints.
  6. Went thru it as a child (5 yo) then did it to my kids at about the same age. That was 15 years ago. When I divorced I used my expereince as a child as a go by for what not to do. If you cannot work things out with the spouse then end it, if you try to prolong it the kids will suffer. Once it is over try to stay close, it is hard because you don't want to be around the ex but it really helps the kids. Try not to be negative about the ex around the kids, this can only hurt them in the long run. Be truthful with the kids. Good Luck!
  7. If your going down a jeep trail and there is a large water bar in front of you, don't assume there is road on the other side of it.....
  8. Bummer, glad your okay! You didn't mention how that happened? :shake:
  9. IdahoEagle's MJ has chevy leafs I do not recall what specific vehicle they came off of.
  10. Still bummed that I missed you again....
  11. Assuming you have a full tank, I hope you find a solution because I have the same problem in my '92.
  12. I doubt it is the only issue, could be a combo of gearing and speedo, but there may be other issues also, like a vacuum leak causing it to run rich will lower mpg's.
  13. Ah right, you've got the I4. Good luck.
  14. Alot of the stock trucks for that year came with 3.07 gears which are terrible for larger tires. Somewhere on here is a guide on how to figure out what your gearing is.
  15. I don't beleive those bolts are 'star' they should be hex heads 'six sided' although I havent pulled the starter on an '86. On the '87 they are not star. On my '87 they are in mm size, I thought one was 15mm and the other was 16mm. Hopefully someone else can confirm.
  16. Stock with 31" tires? Whats your gearing? I bet your speedo is off.
  17. :typing: Props to you!
  18. Yes, I thought all MJ's came stock with 235's. You can put 30's but they rub slightly in the front when steering sharply.
  19. Sorry, will probably need quite a bit more information to provide an informed suggestion. Last tune-up, what was done? Any mods? Tire size and lift? Got a pic of your truck?
  20. Nice looking MJ! Nice beach too, where ya at and what is OBX?
  21. I replaced a stock manifold that was cracked with another stock manifold. There were 2 bolts that I could not access through the gaps and had to reach up from underneath with a box end wrench, major pita. I have seen on some of the builds in this forum non-stock manifolds that have smaller pipes and thus larger gaps for easier access to the mounting bolts. I would suggest one of these manifolds if your gonna DIY.
