next couple months you might be able to buy your 92 back ;) , lookin for more of a project. its changed a little bit though
  2. bilstein 5100's, nicest shocks i've ever run
  3. could be the tps, or a cracked vacuum line. The line from my map sensor cracked and it ran pretty bad
  4. ballast resistor, white ceramic piece on the inside of the driver side fender, controls electrical signals to the fuel pump
  5. is that the jeep farm per chance ;)
  6. was JCR but no more :fs2:
  7. The mounts are good. The originals used to be in front of the axle but one snapped, so now there behind it
  8. Put the bilsteins in, with a good fight from because they were too long. :fs2: I was told to get one size bigger on these, good thing i didn't or i would really be up a creek, shoulda gone one size smaller. They ride great, but now i'm going to have to do an add a leaf to get the back end up enough

  11. Finally went an got new rear shocks for the 92 Image Not Found Bilstein 5100's  . Gonna throw them in tomorrow, an once i get a little more cash gonna buy some for the front an run some adapters to get rid of the bar pin an stud. Nicest piece on the MJ for sure :rotf: :shake:
  12. Christmas came early today, got my new shocks Image Not Found dropped the hammer on some bilstein 5100's, gonna put them in tomorrow
  13. :agree: a bad alternator would result in absolutely nothing happening when you turn the key, no accessories, lights or anything definitely no cranking. At least you can check that off your list of possibilities
  14. The five gallon jug is a good money maker, i had one a quarter the way full and had over 600 bucks. I'm slowly refilling it one mason jar at a time
  15. woops, 5 inches. it looks like the lower mounts are still in the old position. The top mounts look to be the same distance away, but instead of being mounted in front of the axle, they are behind the axle, towards the bumper
  16. pulled my rear shocks to measure for new ones. I got right around 22.5 inches for extended and 14 for collapsed. They seem a little short, but i'm not sure. Its on a spring over, sits right around 5 inches right now
  17. :waving:

  19. Went to the local jeep clubs diabetes fund raiser yesterday. Didn't get too many pics an there was only 1 other MJ there, but was still a pretty good time. Learned i need new shocks bad for the rear. Didn't get to put it on the RTI cause a tent fell down at a horse show in my response area an had to go to that. The MJ i did find was cleeeeeean. Talked to owner, said he had just bought it and repainted it. 88 4.0 4x4 auto, maroon interior. Uses it as a plow truck. Gave him a card, but he didn't seem to interested.
