    How did you determine its bad? Also curious what PS pump you ran? The LS pumps are generally Saginaw series II (or P-series) but they have different flow/pressure for truck and car applications. I run the Car pump, with a 1.5:1 steering ratio and mine does well…original 250K miles box on mine.

    That means mine could be around the 3k area….very little sheet metal left with the same drivetrain as you. Crazy. Stoked for you to enjoy your truck

    Sure am, doesn’t mind the 35’s at all, especially with the correct gearing now. I could definitely tell the drivetrain was under more more stress with 3.07 gears, seems like the 4.88 gears really woke it up.

    Okay, so update time. The Hubs and adapters needed a little work to get installed. The machine fit of the adapters were too tight of a tolerance for the hubs as-is. The hubs were either a little crusty or a little out of round and needed a kiss on the lathe to get back to perfectly round. But now everything fits together with a nice “clunk” and is solid. The wheels fit the adapters and hubs perfectly. I had to trim down the rear axle lug studs to fit behind the wheel mount face, as the wheels don’t have the pockets machined that some wheels come with. I still need to finish bleeding the rear brake bypass line, but it stops for now, pretty smoothly I will say. The rear axle width makes it look not so awkward as it used to with the stock width Dana 44. First and second gear are completely useless, anymore than 1/4 throttle it just blows the tires off.

    It definitely was, but when a buddy says he’ll do it for free I can’t complain too much lol. Would have been probably a grand in labor and materials had I have to pay.

    Tolerances were a little tight on the hubs themselves so they are getting massaged a little more. BUT! I got the spacers and wheels back. And the test fit went great. Once the hubs are fixed up it should all go together perfect and be a driver this weekend hopefully. Hopefully the statements about being lug, and hub centric are making sense now that they have come to fruition.

    If you want some history on the Jeepspeed stuff @NRT_Chris on this forum is a great person to ask as he knows many people in the industry who raced, and himself raced with them. another great resource is Clive Skilton who can be found on facebook, a walking encyclopedia of the racing MJ’s.

    Not a bad idea, I haven’t honestly checked for one. Ill have to take a look next time I’m out there.

    95% done with this one…just needs some finish sanding and cleanup a couple porosity holes. Then Ill prime it and move onto the other beam

    Got my glue gun out…sure haven’t used it in awhile, definitely a little rusty with it.

    Other update, I have begun working on the TTB beams, mainly bracing them up and getting them prepped to go in the truck. Really want to take my time with getting these in, I hastily put the I-beams in previously and here we are taking them out due to dissatisfaction lol. Will be making a cover plate for the truss, and dimple die it. One of the holes won't be dimple died, as it is for the fill plug.

    Finally got some updates, will break into two posts. The spacers and wheels are nearly done, spacers are done just needs the studs pressed in. They are beefy! The wheels are on the mill as we speak getting bored and re-drilled. The way I designed it, I will have optionality to run 5x4.5 or 5x5.5 with these wheels, no real reason why, just a why not thing.

    Worked for me now, maybe it was down for a bit when I checked initially. Not a $6500 truck.

    It’s pushed in, the bracket should only be bent to 90* and yours looks much further than that
