  1. Had a metric ton of parts :) Pretty happy with MJ D44 no scale or rust pits
  2. Looks great with black. Chrome back in style :) just added these to daughters Jeep for Christmas
  3. So it's Christmas time, anyone remember who won the MJ Go-Cart off eBay in 2014 ? John Archer doesn't remember who bought it. Or who has it now?
  4. Tell us more about the incredible console ! Most deserving a writeup for all the details.
  5. Tough decision on what to do. But have decided want stay stockish & keep drum brakes. Worried that the foot emergency brake doesn't have enough throw to make rear disc work properly. I really like the OEM cast spring perches.
  6. So is a grand decent price for complete MJ D44 nowdays?
  7. Well yea me too as I currently don't have MJ D44.
  8. About to turn attention to building axles. LJ Rubicon needs 5:38 and 17” Black Magic BBK. So XJ Chief D44 gets LSD and LJ’s 4:10’s and shafts. Willys Utility Truck D27 gets new seals & Bendix self adjusting 12” drums swapped. And rebuilt D53 LSD. MJ getting rebuilt HP30 reverse rotation with Detroit True Trac and 4:10’’s and LJ’s unit bearings & 15” BBK. Also Artec control arm mounts as original bolt holes feel sloppy. All axles getting sand blasted and matte black powder coating. After I get LJ back together will be lifting MJ :). And while axles out will do Bosh fuel pump and fuel tank skid plate. MJ getting a D44 & Detroit True Track. THINK I want to retain the drums as keeping the foot emergency brake. If anyone has first hand experience with rear disc and foot emergency brake working, please LMK. XJ Drum Backing plates are hard to find !!
  9. I have Part # 33000433 washer fluid sensor but can't find it in books.
  10. And just got reply they are all black powder coated.
  11. He gets powder coating done by local to me shop. I saw box of them getting done. Will ask if bare ones handy and let you know.
  12. Bought for XJ Chief but it doesn't need the crisp bright painted insert, so MJ gets the handle.

  17. Parting cloud shot of Fireball was on shore of Lake Havasu. small plane was ride around Grand Canyon, during thunderstorm that we dodged. Then drove around Grand Canyon to Lake Mead where small bridge crossed. Lots of fun in CA & trip back, looking forward to going back and run the Rubicon Trail.
  18. Great time exploring CA and meeting Jeeples. Fireball the 99 XJ as GJeep named did great on long return trip to East TX, even carrying heavy Willys bumpers & NOS Jeep parts. Wore the rear bumpstops out.
  19. Wonderful meet & feast :) Mike’s MJ is nice original paint survivor & Gianni has wonderful fleet of XJ’s and two of the nicest paint & detailed restoration’s I’ve ever seen. Many thanks & gratitude to Gianni for finding this low mile rust free CA 99 and adding his craftsmanship to the build. The fun continued with crew & girls to see🦭 sea lion & whale 🐋 watching tour out of Monterey Beach. And another exciting long day with great finds at J&W and Willys America. Will add pics next week Not my first trip to CA but have now driven many miles around best parts and it’s most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. So now I know why people want to live there, despite…..
