  1. :agree:
  2. No D44s or hitches but one did have the factory ordered skid package with tow hooks.
  3. In PA and MD there is no law that requires a tittle to scrap a vehicle. I had to cut it up because I had no other way to scrap it with out axles. If I left the axles on and towed it there by dolly they would accept it as is... No I did not remove the VIN tags they are still on there.
  4. I have the same problem falling asleep and tried smoking pot but it just keeps me up longer!
  5. Unlock the steering wheel and tape a plastic bag over the trans tail to keep from leaking fluid.
  6. I would assume the gearing is different seeing as how there isn't any
  7. If you want to make the trip to Mt. Airy, MD there are 4 yes 4! MJs in decent condition as well as 10+ XJs with renix controlled motors. No bucket seat brackets left in the Mjs though I got them. :chillin:
  8. I was wondering.. Did the MJs and Xjs come with the same gearing whether it was 2wd or 4wd? Say a normal 4.0 AW4 4x4 has 3.55 gearing would that be the same as a 4.0 AW4 2wd?
  9. Check these out! Look like they were made for a Comanche wheel hub! HAHA http://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/sockets-accessories/7-piece-3-8-eighth-inch-metric-spline-socket-set-96362.html
  10. x3 My father and I changed the master and slave on his 89. Took 3-4 times bleeding to get all the air out!
  11. Was the pressure 10-15 at idle or while driving? I'm curious because my XJ has low oil pressure.
  12. Pretty much the same with me but finding a MJ near me is near impossible. Most people have junk that they want top dollar for.
  13. Awsome! You must have a lot of MJs near you to junk 14 of them.
  14. Ok good to hear. Thanks eagle
  15. Well it is good to see I am not the only crazy Jeep scrapper! I am pretty sure my neighbors often look out their window and . I have a larger trailer than genovast and I was able to fit all the trash seats, plastic, etc in with the metal so I could scrap it with the truck. I figure why pay to dump the trash? If I didn't need the axles I would have towed the XJ there and they would have payed me the same with all the seats/plastic.
  16. Thanks, Do you think I can buy new bolts from the stealership? The only store around that even sells bolts around me is the home depot or lowes. I'm sure you guys know they have a very limited selection of bolts.

  18. What was your oil pressure running at when it happened?
  19. Yes that is the bench from my 89 MJ. I just had it sitting in there so it wasn't laying around the yard anymore horrifying the neighbors more than I already do. :wavey:
  20. Ok so I have to change my wheel U-joints, but I can't get my wheel hubs out. On my fathers truck I used a 12 point socket to remove the three bolts, but mine are far too rusty to use a 12 point. Anyone have any ideas, other than grinding the heads off and having to buy new wheel bearings and trying to find 6 new bolts?
  21. Anyone wanna ride?
  22. Any drop shackle made for a GMC/Chevy 1500 PU trucks work. It is the shackle setup they use on their late 80s to late 90s truck. I have 2.75" lift in the front and used a pair of 1.5" drop shackles and my truck is level. Keep in mind a 1.5" shackle= 0.75" of lift!
  23. His axle shafts are fine.. He is looking for a write up on how to change the rear wheel bearings on a D 35.
  24. Thanks thats what I thought, but better to be safe and ask!
