  1. I reworked the idlers to get better belt contact with the powersteering pump. Before/after.
  2. A little ghost ride in 2wd double low (152:1) https://youtu.be/7LQASqkSgp8
  3. I've had people ask about the noise from tbe supercharger, here is a video of the engine running and one of the exhaust. https://youtu.be/i7LW6TR3twI https://youtu.be/qrcn3fgQKKc
  4. 91-95 are in my opinion the best years and have the good 7120 head. 96+ is when the pistons changed and are known to drop skirts,96-99 have an 0630 head that is more crack prone than the 7120. 00-01 have the 0331 head that is even worse for cracking.
  5. I even posted on it,7 years ago. Remember talking to him about it on PMs.
  6. Mnkyboy definitely has 97 Dakota seats, not sure who posted the other info.
  7. Maybe eventually. The MPFI donor had it so i kept it,it's nice to know i have the option for it.
  8. Took the MJ for a drive, even hit the highway,it did so well that i decided it deserved a bath.
  9. This.. Doesn't have to be perfect but at least try. As for building a 4 banger, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that,it's a good little engine.
  10. $60-$70 new on E bay, just make sure to get the right year range for your rig. 87-90 and 91 up don't interchange.
  11. Yes it's the Autometer, iirc it was the only MJ/XJ specific one i could find at the time.
  12. My crossmember is completely flat and attaches where the crawl box bolts to the T case,i could probably have put it in the stock location and used the stock mount. I cut the tunnel out of my truck then lifted everything up into the cab so along with the flat belly everything actually sits up out of the way too.
  13. http://www.maxxima.com/products/product_detail/451/Hybrid-Series-LED-Oval-StopTailRear-Turn-and-Backup-Light.html#.WLijJZ-IbqA These are the lights,Ebay will likely have the best price on them.
  14. Issaquah Washington
  15. I think about going every year,it's about 3.5hrs each way for me.
  16. I run a slip yoke eleminator on my MJ,our trucks typically don't need to have them like the shorter wheelbase Jeeps do but it is nice to have.
  17. I get messages all the time about mine,of everything that's done to my truck the Dakota seats get the most questions. The issue with mine is that my truck had Chevy car seats that were attached to wood blocks and screwed to the floor,I didnt have any MJ rails and the Dakota seats didn't come to me with rails either, i made brackets from scratch and used generic rails from a conversion van. Because of that i can't really do a good write up since my install is different than someone that had the rails,i usually send people here.
  18. Got the ice box and pump for the intercooler today,it's shiny so it has to be loaded with horsepower.
  19. I could see that time if you had done it before, the average person out in the garage is probably going to take a bit longer.
  20. I believe mine is 6lbs with the current pulley. Hopefully i can get the gauge wired up soon and find out for sure. Most people don't end up cutting the hood, most I've seen mount the SC on the passenger side and set it lower. My biggest issue is that i have the water/air intercooler sandwiched in there making my set up really tall. That sideways mounted SC kit looks pretty cool,i bet it would look great under your hood.
  21. I've driven the truck a little bit and it scoots along pretty good. I still need to set up the wide band o2& boost gauges and water/air intercooler before i can really play with it. I ordered a 4 gal ice box to mount in the bed and a pump, just have to decide on a heat exchanger then i can set up the intercooler, the wide band and boost gauges are mounted in a pillar mount and just need wired up.
