  1. i struggled with this for months went through all your tips new grounds all new sensors o2 tps cps coil dist fuel pump ect. can anyone guess what caused this? cost me less than 5cents to fix. runs great ive been driving it everywhere for 3 days now.

  6. I'm changing out this fuel pump and the sock on the bottom of pump is not super tight on there how tight should it be?

  8. don't need a bigger butterfly your only really knocking the taper out of it i think it 58mm . don't quote me on it but i know ive done it. if you look at the renix tb it has a taper at the bottom. also pulling the silencing cone out of the stock air box helps too
  9. i did mine with a drum sander on an extra i had laying around cleaned and polished it too there was a write up on it i think i had 15 bucks in it with gasket carb cleaner and the sander go slow and take your time. ill look for the link

  11. ive seen these add a cab on before on older chevys and dodge and a few fords on long bed extended cabs. imagine a ford f350 4 door long bed with the add a cab.if i see the guy tomorrow ill take a pic i always see him driving.

  13. id just put a one piece shaft in and call it done with new seals. the cost of the kit for hubs you could just find a dana 44 with hubs and put it under your truck.
  14. when i did mine on my xj used 4 jack stands 2 on the end and 2 in in the center area. wire wheeled and welded about 2-3in on each side and let it cool a little till it was fully welded. also redo the plug welds.
  15. offer 2500 go from there. cash in hand in 100s because cash is king, guy wanted 2500 for mine i paid 1300. i was the only guy who showed up with cash.

  18. 88 xj 690,000 4x4 aw4 ran 20-50 gtx from day one. 2 transfer cases. i used this motor in my rockcrawler after i rebuilt it. when i rebuild it berings looked good only thing that was bad was some carbon on the pistons. and needed rings
  19. hows you cat look. my comanche did this and i cut a slit infront of it drove it and fixed. so i cut it off and put a nice pipe up there. i know someone gonna say this is wrong but can't hurt. as for scaning a renix snap-on scanner did have a adapter so you could read renix i returned mine 5grand for scaner and 200 for the chip and cables. this was in 2005 wish i had it now
  20. i ran ironman andys from ironman4x4fab.com super beef. it's the only one i will buy again i had rustys and a rough country crap and broke them on my xj with 8.5in lift put his on all that happened is i scrached the powder coat.
