  1. Well I'm sad to report that my beloved hunter green 92 MJ got hailed on and so insurance took one look at it and declared it a total loss. But, to make it worse, they said it needed both body integrity and safety inspections before it could be driven or insured. Given the rust on the rockers/cab corners, cracked windshield, non-functioning park brake, etc it was just beyond my capabilities. BUT, the good news is I didn't let them take it and crush it. I sold it privately to a dude who will drive it on his farm, let his teenage kids use it. And perhaps get it fixed and licensed down the road. So I saved it from the crusher!!!! I'm down to one MJ again.
  2. Just a tip for next time or other folks reading this thread. Set the linkage down, and change one bushing at a time without disturbing things too much. I've changed those bushings on two of my MJs and not had a problem doing it that way.
  3. If you already have a RockAuto account just login and go to your account page, there should be a 5% off coupon code in there, click it and the code will be applied to your cart. No need to ask around or search for a code anymore!
  4. When I saw this I thought of you. I think you should buy it... http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/regina/rare-lada/1183179943
  5. FYI you don't need to mark the center line on the headliner fabric. Simply fold over half, do one half completely, then do the other half. Leave the excess all around until you have the main board done, then trim, fold & glue the overlap on the back side. You really only need to wrap the front & back on the board to give a cleaner edge look. Makes life easier.
  6. Wow, thanks.
  7. I got my shirt, no complaints here. Too bad you announced the rear view like the day after mine shipped LOL.
  8. I like using flickr.com for pic posting.
  9. I recently researched and bought a new fridge. Samsung had lots of features but horrible, awful reliability. I avoided them altogether.
  10. It's also missing the black around the windows.
  11. I didn't realize it was a car dealer. Sweet truck, needs a little tweaking but super clean and straight.
  12. Did you try asking the owner through eBay?
  13. I called Speedy glass here, $333 for a new windshield. But everything is more expensive in Canada.
  14. 2V spark plugs aren't bad, I changed mine a few months ago. I know the tricks now though for the rear cylinders, I could do it again in less time. The 3V motors' plugs are the worst because they break upon removal.
  15. Another trick is to insert nylon rope through the spark plug hole after moving the piston up. That helps take up more space so the valve can't drop. Be sure to leave some rope sticking out so you can pull it out when you're done.
  16. That's why I said 02-03 LOL I'm on my third 97-03 F150. Maintain these trucks right and they last a long time.
  17. Side markers, reflectors, backup lights, they're totally illegal setups as shown here.
  18. Jeep Comanche. Duh Second choice 01-03 F-150.
  19. If I was you I wouldn't replace it at all. If there's no weird noise and it's not leaking you should be fine.
  20. I sent the money a week ago but did not get a tracking number. Did my shirt ship out yet?
