  1. Correy, some base model, and police package XJ's actually had column shifts. Column shifts can be found on all years of comanche's, but if you want to change to console shift, that also is an easy swap to accomplish. Rob L.
  2. Looks like the wrong one to me, someone else might have to chime in for complete accuracy. Rob L. :dunno:
  3. Did you try cycling the key to build up fuel pressure in the rail before starting? I imagine it would have started assuming it was getting fuel the whole time, but just asking. Can you hear the hum of the fuel pump when you go key on engine off? And I am also assuming you FILLED the tank after installing. ;) Rob L.
  4. I would be interested to see a woodgrain MJ. Anyone have a pic? Rob L.
  5. No problem! Any plans for it? Rob L.
  6. Yep, thats possible. With a 4 speed (AX4), and 4 cyl, most likely its the base of base models. 5 speed was an option(AX5). The chance of it being a "true" non-power steering truck are very good. Welcome to the madness! Rob L.
  7. Why are you doing an axle swap? If its bacause you plan on running bigger meats, the bigger tires will take up some of the difference. If you plan your gears and tire correct, the gears you gain could be offset by the size of the tire, and put you right back to where you need to be. Rob L.
  8. Jerk. :fs1: Rob L.

    Caught

DUMB. I have been spending a lot of time in cop cars... I maintain them.... And the camera and microphone systems in these things, are ridiculously clear. All of our cars have a double camera system, one facing forward, one facing the cage, microphone on the officer, and a wired mic in the cage. I have been doing the chageovers at work, and these systems are crazy. There are speed sensors, brake sensors, yaw sensors, every move is recorded. Idiots. Planting something on this poor guy. Rob L.
  10. SEARCH is your friend. :D viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17011&p=172619&hilit=cargo+rack#p172619 Rob L.
  11. I would say a tough truck competition. Rob L.
  12. Last post was July 18th, last log on was August 8th. I bet he just got busy. Rob L.
  13. I don't think its too common on our trucks... To be honest, I have never done one on any of the 6 MJ's I have had. I always try to keep a full tank to keep the pump cool and happy too. Rob L.
  14. :rotf: Rob L.
  15. Anything is possible with some go-to attitude! :rotf: Seriously. Its just a way of bypassing using the stock pump. It can be done, but by the time you do all of that, might as well have tracked down the correct MJ unit. Rob L.
  16. Eagle, I thought the same thing at first... He's not selling anything. Rob L.
  17. Eliminator... Rob L.
  18. Ok, gotcha. You are asking for someone to make these unavailable to to you so you don't have the temptation to buy... Now I get it. One is a V-6 :teehee: ..... Rob L.
  19. Found a whole mess of Street MJ pics in the Yahoo group folders... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jeepcoman ... 0/pic/list Rob L.
  20. If you need new leafs, try hell creek suspensions. They make great kits, using their own well-built leaf packs, and rough country suspension components. Good customer service. I have asked a few questions of the owner. He also has a 4.5 inch lift on his own 2WD comanche. His screen name escapes me at the moment, but here is the site: http://www.hellcreeksuspensions.com/ and here is a pic of the truck. http://www.hellcreeksuspensions.com/ima ... eep_20.jpg Rob L.
  21. Nice. Rob L.
  22. :hmm: So what are you asking? Should this be in the classifieds? Rob L. :huh???:
  23. Its been around, I've seen it before, just don't remember where... Rob L.
  24. I am a headache rack fan. Rob L.
