I picked up a '92 for a drivetrain donor for the longbed in the driveway you saw... I will be gutting the longbed now and prepping it for the complete harness and component swap. Plans are for either a Rubicon Express 6.5" short arm, or a Roughcountry/Full traction suspension Longarm kit. If I had known who you were earlier, I would have just gave you one of them brush guards! I still have a bunch of stuff, and will be accumulating a bunch of crap, so if theres anything you need, shoot me a PM before you run out and buy it... The KDP is the Killer Dowel Pin.... http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/Dowel_Pin/tab.htm Its a pin located on the front of the block, under the timing cover... It has been known to work its way out, and fall into the timing set, ruining EVERYTHING. Cummins, and Mopar offer a kit that uses a bolt hole next to the pin, to fasten a tab over the pin to stop it from backing out... It will happen on a stock 5.9, but even more likely on a modified one... Just do a search on "Killer Dowel Pin" it should show you all the in's and outs. I miss my '97 CTD 12V... Rob L. :(

He has everything on hand to put this MJ together, save a bed... But that's not required to drive... He has the MJ, the XJ drivetrain with low miles and great runner, and all the spare parts around... He was having trouble tracking down the TJ's owner, and the story always changes with how much/what she wants... I just told him to build this as a solid driver, and stop chasing stuff that would just lead to more projects. Rob L. :smart:
