  1. Just because it was $60 doesn't mean it was quality. I'll sell you a pile of dog mess for $60. What was the brand name? I usually stick with bosch. Rob L.
  2. $8000 is about $7000 out of my price range. :( Rob L.
  3. I think so. Rob L.
  4. Did you use a quality o2 sensor? Rob L.
  5. Kinda figured you had a lame o2 from the get-go... Glad your getting around to it though, as its always a good tune-up part to do as maintenance. Rob L.
  6. :agree: Keeping it flat with no radius on the back, is a good way keep it cheap... This bedside would cover the problem most of us have, Big rusty wheelwells. I am just glad there is someone making these to be honest with ya. One-less thing to deal with. Rob L. :D
  7. :shake: Rob L.
  8. Yowza. I have ruined a clean pair of shorts. Good thing everyone was ok, and you can get a little chuckle about it. Rob L.
  9. Good luck with the city gig... I work for a city, and BELIEVE ME, right now if there is an opening everybody and their brother is trying to get a government job. Not only does that make it hard to stand out, but you also have the problem of all these guys who are grossly over qualified that are applying for these jobs, as they lost theirs. Best have some sort of game plan to make you shine above the rest. Good luck. Rob L.
  10. One sweet tow rig. All the hard work is done :D http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/cto/1632078410.html Anyone have a 4bt laying around? Rob L.

Congrats guys, good to hear all is well. Rob L.
  12. There is, or was, this EXACT RHD conversion on an XJ in the junkyard by me. Rob L.
  13. Ah... Nevermind. This thing has been touched by too many idiots... Rob L.
  14. Kitch, you can also use 2wd MJ leafs to lower the back a bit... Rob L.
  15. The star is an inverted torx you are supposed to use to keep the stud from spinning. The stud is kinda of a pain in the butt if its not still attached to the truck or the swaybar. If you already broke one, I would say a sawzall or a torch is in order. A torch and some patience will be your best friend if you are trying to save the other link. Otherwise, pry pull, heat, bend, knaw and chew to get the other one off. Rob L.
  16. Yep. Don't they know they could have saved a whole bunch of time and webspace by just going to the website with the coolest stuff around... www.comancheclub.com Rob L.
  17. More like destroyed... It was a rollover if I remember right... But he wasn't being an idiot. Rob L.
  18. There was a "factory looking" stepside Comanche on ebaynot too long ago... Definitely one-off, but very well done. I am with you on the getting the j-trucks and the Comanche confused... Easily done, and I have often been led to "A cool old Comanche like yours is sitting over here for sale..." To find a j-truck sitting there. Not a bad thing by any means, because even the FSJ trucks are BA, and I would love to have one as a workhorse. It'd be a sweet tow rig for the MJ's also. Rob L. 8)
  19. Hey! I am not. Well... OK. Yeah, maybe a little. Rob L. :ack:
  20. Its a threaded rod with a locknut. That, and once its all bolted together, it can't untwist. Rubicon Express... Rob L.
  21. They are mounted to the factory cross member... :ack: Rob L.
  22. Its looking good man! Just saw ya today at the stoplight in Cherry Valley... Didn't know if you remembered me, or thought I was some weirdo... I knew it was you as soon as I came over the bridge and saw the @$$ end of a gray Comanche jacked up in the air... Rob L. :D
  23. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f11/lifted ... obo-39327/ viewtopic.php?f=26&t=21995 I have seen this one for sale before, because I remember the SOA with lower front pics posted... But its the same color as my LWB project... I am really thinking about picking this up, and saving myself a TON of work. But its 300 miles away from me. If there is a member that would be interested in going there, taking an insane amount of pics, and giving it a test drive, I will compensate for your troubles. Also might need help with transport if anything turns out... Thanks in advance as always fellas. Rob L.
  24. Yes, using dissimilar metals together will promote "Galvanic Corrosion". It will make it deteriorate faster... Just do a search on "dissimilar metals", and it should tell you all you need to know... Here is a tidbit I just found. http://www.engineersedge.com/galvanic_capatability.htm Rob L. 8)
