Almost forgot... Also trolling for a rear driveshaft in better shape. This one looks a tad thin due to rust. :ack: 4.0L, AW4, 231, D44. Rob L. -
I love working for public works. I get the truck when I want it. Not when they have time to give it to me. :D Rob L.

Always have to street promote. I have been known to go 10-20 miles out of the way chasing an MJ on the road, just to hand a card over at a stop light... Last time I did, I had a giant freezer bag full of change in the back of the ZJ, and as I whipped around to pursue, the bag burst open and covered the whole back seat area in hundreds in change. :shake: I am still pulling change out from all the nooks and crannies. :rotfl2: Rob L.

Get the one will all the fancy adapters. That way you have more of a chance at having everything you need to get a reading on most ports. Rob L.

The VIN is irrelevant. Find the Previous owners. Rob L.

No one will have info if it is a street Comanche or not, without the dash tag. It was a dealer thing only. The VIN is manufacturer deep. It left the plant as a normal MJ. It became a street MJ afterwards. I would track down all the previous owners to find out the real truth. See if you can. Rob L.

Meh. I played it to my advantage after that. They were cracking down on OT at the time, and watching lunches to make sure you were taking them it got so bad. So I stuck it right back to them, and tried my hardest to upsell towards the end of the night. My fondest memory of that was a good customer with a really nice F250, who I sold every thing on the menu to. (Oil/filter, trans service, coolant flush, air/fuel filter, tire rotation... yadda yadda) I invited him onto the shop floor and showed him everything we were doing, as well as showed him why we did it. Even all sat around and had the girlfriends run and get us some Wendy's while we were all waiting for the coolant machine to finish... The dealer closed at 6. We were there until 10:30. :D From then on, that guy asked for me every time he came in. 8) Rob L.

I hear ya Dave, but the truth is, until people change... It is what it is. I once made the mistake of turning a customer away when I worked for ford. I worked in back during the day, and came up front to manage the quick lane at night. I had plans one evening right after work, and a lady came in for a 1.0 HR job 5 minutes before closing time. She said she was told we would do it, I said that I was sorry that we were closing in 5 minutes, and I wouldn't have the time. She called the service manager and left him a very rude message. So he gave me and the guys very rude talking to. Times is tough. Take what you can get, because there is a guy who can't even afford to eat, who would be happy to give up a lunch to gain some work. Got the pics. Alright guys. Not going to happen. At least in my eyes. Sorry fellas. Sit down, grab some tissues to catch the tears, and a bucket for the vomit. Past the point of no return. Are you sitting down? Ready for this? Speechless. Sorry guys. This one is done. Rob L. -

I mean, besides the bodywork, its just a 2wd MJ... It will take a ton of work, or I could do the same amount of work to one of the 3 MJ's I already have, and end up with a less-trouble, less-rolled product... I will keep at it for the sake of the group though. I would love to be able to pick this up for Pete... It would be a great CC.com truck... I just don't have the cash/space. But I am sure we would all chip into save a cool MJ. Rob L. -

Just got off the phone with him. $500. He is going to send me some pics of the other side. He's the third owner. First owner drove it as is, and just took care of it. The second owners were a father/son that turned it into what it is(was)... And the most current guy rolled the crap out of it. He admittedly "Was being a d-a, and rolled it while not paying attention to the road." I have a sneaky suspicion that there is some information missing from his story. He said it was still running at the time of roll over. Got it towed back to the farm, and fired it up again. But, none the less, pics are on the way, and I will be sure to post 'em up. Rob L. -
Not out of that thing. I would just enjoy it as is. Last time I checked there was only one place to get the parts for the engine from in Ohio. And, on top of that, everything had to be shipped in from France. And all we were trying to get was an alternator. Ended up having to rebuild the stock one, and wait for the brushes from France. :ack: If I had it, it would be hermetically sealed, and only come out on 70+ degree days. Did you know you have to remove a motor mount to replace the starter on that thing? Rob L. :fs1:
