  1. Hows about some pics of the waggy for those not in the loop? Rob L. 8)
  2. ^^ Qualifies for fleet insurance according to state farm... (5+ vehicles. I have asked. ) Rob L. 8)
  3. I went with option B, but Paint 'em black. Rob L.
  4. Turn it into a transformer? What do you want it to do? It has 4 wheels and a pickup box. It's not a race car, or a rice mobile. Just a utilitarian truck. What I would do: Get it running right consistently. Fix the rust. AX5 Conversion. 4x4 Conversion. Brush guard. Roll bar. Bumpers. Small lift. 30-31" tires. Drive the crap out of it. Bord=BorEd. Dose=DOES Rob L. ;)
  5. :fs2: Idiots. (Build date?) Rob L.
  6. CHECK THAT BUILD DATE! Drivers door. Rob L.
  7. Build date? Rob L.
  8. Umm, they didn't make Wranglers in '96... Rob L. 8)
  9. It seems we have a gravedigger pulling up some old stuff... Not a bad thing, but it gets confusing for sure. Rob L.
  10. :fs2:
  11. Pumps are the same, however the arm/sending unit is not the same between XJ/MJ... Has to do with the shape of the tanks... They are short and shallow on the XJ's, while the MJ's are taller... You will see the difference once you get the two together. You know what I mean by exchange the pumps right? Rob L.
  12. PM me your addy if you want a hand one day shoring the MJ up. I am in your area... Usually have free time. Rob L.
  13. If you got the pump from at parts store the cradle will be wrong, but you should be able to remove the pump from the cradle, and put it into yours... (No one makes a pump/sender for MJ's anymore... All the parts stores assume its the same as an XJ, but, it ain't.) Rob L. :typing:
  14. Isn't that an aircraft tug? Rob L.
  15. Here are the details available in the Trip section, as well as a link in it to the Midwest trip section where the thread is. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=21972 Rob L.
  16. Don't need one Matt! Will(whowey), and myself have MJ's, but neither of ours are mobile... We usually bring our Grand Cherokee's. We don't wheel or anything, its more just a put faces to names, have some good food and beer, as well as a good picking through a local JU. You don't even have to own an MJ to come, just like 'em. Rob L.
  17. Sweet. Keep us posted. You coming to the meet and greet in April? Rob L. :dunno:
  18. ^^^ Needs to update that signature. Rob L. 8)
  19. :rotf: That was the AMC logo, or American Motors Company. Live by that logo, they were the ones who created the Comanche while they owned jeep. People with '80's MJ's usually still have the logo all over the truck, keys, and seat belts. Rob L.
  20. NICE! Rob L.
  21. I loved that scene... Rob L. :chillin:
  22. Here you go. http://www.wivip.com/BOOK%20FOR%20PRINT.pdf If a vehicle fails emissions, they have to get it repaired. A shop gets a score based on how many successful repairs they complete. Since most emissions items are hard to pin down at times, and they also are usually drivability related, looking to see what a shops score on repairs is good when searching for a competent mechanic. Its a really useful tool if you don't work on your own stuff, or are looking to recommend someone. Rob L.
  23. Check out the emissions registry up there for shops with 100% success rates... Usually, they are darn good, and are very professional. As for her problems... I think the voltage reg of the alternator is in the PCM on the caravan... If that fried, even a new alt will not fix the charging problem. Rob L.
