  1. Just as the title states, taking any and all black interior parts. Rob L.
  2. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Rob L. :clapping:
  3. I have the Halle Berry MJ as my garage computer wallpaper. Rob L. :brows:
  4. HTC EVO FTW!!! Love this phone. Internet looks like internet, 8MP camera with dual flash, HD camcorder... All the apps all the rest have... AMAZING! Its $80 a month Pat. When you bring me the cash this weekend, I'll let you play with my EVO :brows: and see how you like it. Rob L.
  5. Yep, back when I worked at Ford, I really liked them. The 3.0 has a good amount of "pep", and its built pretty good. Never really had much problems with them other than the normal wear and tear items. I would buy one in a heartbeat if the price was good enough. Of course, I would buy most anything if the price is good enough. Rob L. :dunno:
  6. Ebay, find a spectra tank, I think they are around $100, and well worth the investment. Rob L.
  7. Finally the surplus auction came back around this year, and I had a chance to update (kinda) the ol' garage computer. Last year I had picked up a Panasonic toughbook, CF-28. It had the smaller screen, and a really low resolution, but came in handy running the '92 FSM on it, surfing CC in the garage, and being able to keep it in the hot/cold/damp garage without worrying too much. The rubber keyboard kept the grease, oil, and dust out of the inside, and easy to clean after a day of wrenching/cc'ing. It was great to hook up some CPU speakers, and rock some Yahoo music rather than the static filled junk FM radio. But, the resolution kept me from running my diagnostic programs at home and work... This years county auction came through well. Ended up with another CF-28, with the bigger 13.3" screen, a night-light LED strip for the keys/screen, and all the normal toughbook goodies (Backlit rubber keyboard, touch screen, magnesium case, steel doors, ultra durable... etc)... I picked it up for $45, and was lucky enough to get one without a supervisory password still installed from the town it came from. I ripped apart the old TB for the WIFI card and factory antenna (which I bought off ebay and installed on the old one), and tossed it on the new one. Boy is the inside of a laptop a cramped mess. Within an hour, I was surfing CC. Its got a 30GB hard drive, 800Mhz PIII, and some pitiful amount of RAM. Does well on CC and farting around though. Pics: Taking the old and new apart: Finished Product: Backlit keys: Closed unit: I should have bought the lot of about 4-5 of them, but I had a few buddies there, and I didn't want to hoard all the goodies. :D I think the actual county police auction is coming up in the spring, and I might just have to go to see if they have any more there. They are such nice units for the garage. Rob L. 8)

Ah, what a perfect time to break out some Errol Lee Morris High Life commercials... Rob L.

  10. PM SENT!!! Rob L.
  11. Vomit. Buy it back, and build it better, faster, stronger. Rob L.
  12. A little relay that plugs into the fuse box, called the "headlight sentinel" someone can help me out with a pic... Rob L.
  13. He's been really really busy... It took him everything in his power to get this out to me on time, and the only reason he did was because I think he couldn't start a job until later on, and had a free second to sit and write it up. Rob L.
  14. X2, thats why I had to ask. That ring gear bulge in the cover looks big. Rob L.
  15. Anything is possible. JeepcoMJ found a D44 in a SWB 4.0L auto 2WD. Few members have found them in the 5 speed flavor in '91/'92. Rob L.
  16. Sure that was a 35? Looks like pretty big brakes.... Rob L. :dunno:
  17. Welcome to the CLUB! Always nice to know we have some members abroad. Your missing a couple letters on that VIN though... Should be 17 characters. :dunno: Don't worry about the poor english, we have quite a few french canadians, who could probably help you out. Rob L.

    New here

Hallo Norbert! Good to see a fella from Germany. My mom is from Germany originally, pardon my butchering of town, but I believe she is from just outside or Nurmburg, maybe Erlangen? Sorry if I completely wrecked both of those... I have seen them spelled out a few times, but I am just going on what I can recall by sound since its been awhile. Been over a few times to visit family. I love Frankfurt. Welcome to the club! Rob L.
  19. Yep. Rob L. :D
  20. Thanks man! The towing package news is awesome! I assumed it did, but the 3.73's and a class III from the dealer is a nice thing to have. Pete informed me the 7/70 doesn't even cover the engine, so I guess finding out about that is kind of a non issue now... We'll find out if they are open tomorrow, and I will keep you guys posted! Rob L.
  21. Just thinking about trading in the ZJ on this gem: 1J8GL48535W697092 Just looking to what it has in it for options. Its only a sport, but it seems that someone checked off some good stuff, as it has tow hooks, and a 2" hitch with a Mopar plug in... That, and she be a Diesel. 8) I was looking to see if it had any other goodies like a Trac-lock or anything else. Also, any of you guys have any opinions of these things? I already PM'ed SirSam, but as I would be making payments on this thing for 5 years, it had better be reliable. In that same note, any of you dealer guys know if the 7/70 drivetrain warranty offered in '05 is transferable? So far after some heated battle, I got their $16995 Down to $13700 and $4000 for the ZJ, leaving me with financing $9700. I am going to try and beat them down another grand before I do anything. Gracias, Rob L.
  22. What fer? Getting back into it? Rob L.
  23. ZJ's came with 3.55's, or 3.73's. Decent axle, but will most likely have CV shafts. Easy to swap in the standard u-joints if you wish. Rob L.
  24. Eagle, someone hacked out the factory harness connectors and tossed them while attempting to use a '96 cluster. I sold him a Renix Cluster I had, and cut out the 2 connectors out of the Renix to sell to him. Apparently the truck I got the connectors out of had a slightly different wiring layout than the stock ones to his truck. Rob L.
  25. Cab looks pretty good. I would take a pic square, from each side, front and rear, and post that question again in the pub. I think its save-able. Next question is, what the hell were you doing? Rob L.
