  1. You wearing crocs? Rob L. :dunno:
  2. You can get them all from the top fairly easily. Take off the console, and three inner boot. Once your there, you should be able to see a couple, and those you can usually get with a socket and extension. The others you'll have to use a wrench and patience as they usually take awhile to get out. Rob L.
  3. I never thought I would find one. Or at least it looks like you have found one: Think it could be one of those trucks? Rob L.
  4. You got it. Mechanically, they are usually very good. But cosmetically, they are usually garbage. I can't even begin to tell you about all the dings and dents we have on all of the trucks. One '08 Chevy we have is on its 3-4th rear bumper, 2nd seat, 3rd passenger mirror, 2nd tailgate... It gets frustrating at times. Rob L.
  5. They are actually tag lights. I replace them all the time at work (I am a City Mechanic)... They stick out a ton, and they knock off easily. Great find on the truck. I wish I could drive an old city truck MJ. The damage and wear looks pretty typical. All city trucks get treated like red-headed step children. Rob L.
  6. This originally yellow? Rob L.
  7. Offer him less, but I would buy it even at his price. Tons of good parts there. Rob L.
  8. DSM you say!? Never miss an opportunity to post my favorite poster. Rob L. :D
  9. Check it for a D44 rear axle. Being a city truck, they probably checked off all payload/towing options. I wished the city I work for had MJ's! All we have are Chevy's :ack: Rob L.
  10. The more this truck is discussed, the more me thinks this is a big overpriced bad idea. Rob L.
  11. Better hope there is an un-boltable trans dropout for repairs. I sure as hell wouldn't want to grind off a crossmember just to do a clutch. Rob L.
  12. I might drop it down to 33's anyway. A local member had an MJ with 35's and a D30 posi lok... He blew out a u-joint just messing around in the snow bank in front of my house. Rob L.
  13. He send any pics of the arms and stuff? He better not have those things mounted to the stock crossmember. Rob L.
  14. Good. Even if you are experienced, its always good to bring a second (or third) set of eyes. I notice I get blinders on when its something I really want, and end up overlooking things because I want it so bad. Nice to have a non-interested friend tag along and keep you on an even keel. Rob L.
  15. Maybe its because I've done it a handful of times, but realistically, I have pulled the entire dash in about 15 minutes, without breaking anything. It seems harder than it is, but its really not. Of course, after you take a few MJ's and XJ's down to this level: Its all childs play from there. Rob L.
  16. Take someone along who knows what they are looking at. Or find a good member from here. That thing is highly modified, and has BIG BIG BIG potential to be a basket case. Big flag is the "custom suspension". Not many people have the smarts to pull off a functioning long arm suspension by themselves. You sound very excited, and I suggest you take a step back and look at a few of them before you blow your load. I'd start by looking at stock ones, rather than picking up someone else's problem. Rob L.
  17. I was going to give you a heads up on this, but figured you'd find it. Just didn't know it would take this long! How the heck did you find this? Rob L.
  18. Dodge Dakota Don. Rob L.
  19. I will always recommend the euramatec lights. Rob L.
  20. Something about your "tone" told me "sarcasm" Sharp looking MJ none the less. I'd drive it. Rob L.
  21. Not if your Canadian, or from WI. Then the drinking age is "has pulse". Lol. And don't fret about the tails. I used a good set for the pics. The actual set has some holes/cracks. Rob L.
  22. 3" Coils, stock arms, and Metric Ton rear leaves. 31" BFG A/Ts on Canyons: Rob L.
  23. Beer is in the fridge, couch always has room for one more. Rob L.
  24. I believe www.jcroffroad.com still has them available. Better get them quick before someone complains about them and they get discontinued too. Rob L.
