  1. Seems like some tall coin for a donor. Rob L. :dunno:
  2. Saw that, thanks. Its a bit too far away to be dealing with a non member. I would like to get my hands onto a black cloth bench something awful though. Rob L.
  3. I would see if you could find the 4.10's. Also, I think you might want to go for the later years if you are after an 8.8, as they got disc's later on. I am unsure if the early '90's ones sported disc's or drums. Be aware that the 8.8 is quite a bit narrower than the MJ rear, and will look weird without spacers. I think. 8) Rob L.
  4. Even I could have told you that. :D I mean, does it have the little allen heads? Or is it just a plain jane black one? I'd be interested in a lot of little parts, like the black grab handles, seat belts, might even be interested in the plastic under the back window. I think I am still missing that. Rob L.
  5. Anything will fit with a welder and some perches... But nothing will be "bolt in" except for a Comanche axle. I would make sure that whatever axle you put in has gears that compliment your 2.5L, and that you can easily find a front axle in a Jeep flavor that would have a matching gear set. Is that what your asking? Rob L. :dunno:
  6. Why don't you just take the rubber off and put on some skateboard grip tape? But I really don't think the pedal covers are "slippery"... Are you sure you didn't get any oil behind them? Tried some double sided tape to keep the rubber from sliding around? Rob L. :dunno:
  7. I'd be on board if I didn't need anything else, but as stated, $4000 could go a TON farther in other parts of the truck. Rob L.
  8. Or you could just spend the .99 on a tube of RTV, and be done with it. Rob L.
  9. Ive noticed this tonight also Darren. You aren't the only one. I'll talk to Pete. Rob L.
  10. Only if he incorrectly logs in Pete. Upon trying a second time, it has you do a captcha. Been that way forever... Or at least I thought. Rob L.
  11. If we make it any easier, Pete and I will have 200 spam user requests per day, instead of 100. Rob L.
  12. Not $2000: http://rubiconexpress.com/Jeep/MJ/Produ ... art=RE6500 Rob L.
  13. Sorry there bud. Rob L.
  14. 2 D44's!? If he's telling you that... He's and idiot, and your crazy for listening to him. No XJ/MJ ever came with a D44 front. Now 100% its a D35. Sorry man. Have to go with the trend of info here. Rob L.
  15. IF it ends up being a 44, I wouldn't take the incorrect tag as anything. Pull the cover and check the stamping on the gears to verify the ratio. Rob L.
  16. Maybe and thats a big maybe The previous owner swapped axles, and put the D35 tag on the D44, but I doubt it. Sorry to say it, but I am 99.99% sure that its going to be a D35. I would need a pic to be persuaded otherwise. Rob L.
  17. Gearing would be better, don't know if it would be worth it to spend all the work putting the XJ axle in to an MJ without being an upgrade. D44: D35: Rob L.
  18. Tag says its a 4.10 geared D35, off of an '86 Cherokee / Wagoneer 8953004514 '86 Cherokee & Wagoneer 35 4.11 NL Got a picture of it? Its pretty hard to confuse a D35 and a D44. Rob L.
  19. Yep, they are a direct bolt in. The only difference is they have a higher load capacity. Rob L.
  20. For ideas, members who have bobbed in the past have just put the rear shackle mounts onto the rear bumper, and it actually looks very nice. That, and if gives you the absolute shortest rear without changing the wheelbase. Rob L.
  21. In your shoes I would use some round bar thats the correct size and then use a thread die on the end of that. :agree: Rob L.
  22. I'd like to have another set... It would be easier to make work if I had some doubles. Plus, some parts like that blue box I got is pretty smashed up and questionable. I would happily pay you to grab everything, and send it my way. How much you want? I pay quick. Rob L.
  23. New u-bolts? You do know that they will naturally have some stretch, and all you need to do is check them a couple hundred miles after install, right? Rob L.
  24. I noticed that too. Rob L.
  25. You've tried to get it to work? Ever succeed? Rob L.
