damm that really blows eagle.... but i believe as long as you have a valid sales contract signed by both parties, then they have to sell you the truck.. had the same sort of thing happen to me many moons ago, little different situation though... i had been looking a 93 isuzu pickup in the auto trader from a dealership in providence.. it was advertised for $3k through at least 3 issues, and when i got there to look at it the engine was apart and they were doing the head gasket :huh???: so i looked the truck over, gave them a deposit to hold it, signed a sales agreement, and went home... and the snotnosed piece of work kid who owned the place called my parent's house the next day (i still lived there at the time) and started to rip into my mom and called her all kinds of names, and he said the salesman never talked to him about the price and couldn't authorize it (even though it had been in the trader for 3 months at the same price), and we just did all kinds of motor work to the truck so now the price went up to $4500 :fs1: .. i called him back and called him a coward, and said why don't you come to my neighborhood and spew all that crap you just said over the phone to my mom to me personally, and of course he declined... so i went there the next morning to get my deposit back, and the truck isn't there.. spoke to the original salesman, he said someone else bought it for $4500, and it's out getting an inspection sticker.. words could not express how livid i was, but i bit my tongue, left without my deposit, and called up my parent's lawyer friend... and this is what he told me: as long as you have a valid sales agreement signed by both parties, it's a breach of contract for 2 reasons, 1 being that they advertised a vehicle not ready for sale, and 2. they can't just raise the price after the paperwork is signed.. he also told me that if i was to pursue litigation, that the vehicle would have to remain on the lot until the case was worked out... i called the dealer back the next morning and told them all that, and the owner said i could pick the truck up the following day for $3k.. paid em in travelers cheques too :rotf: not sure that helps you any, or even if the jeep is actually still on their lot, but usually the threat of legal action and camera crews will force their hand....

yeah... i'm a huge fan of the dew, even though i work at coke... i actually like the throwback dew more than the regular, and i tried a pepsi one and thought it was gross... but i've never liked pepsi anyway.... -
i keep a full size spare 265/75/16 in the bed of my chevy and it doesn't move around all that much unless its been raining, even when I'm out in the woods... i guess theft could be an issue, but my spare rim is so rusty it will make you need a tetanus shot if you get within 2 feet of it :rotf: ... 300k miles worth of riding under the truck will do that though... i would have left it there but with the dual pipes it doesn't fit anymore.... i guess the next best thing would be to get one of those baja truck tire mounts that bolts to the bed..

mine has the canyons too... before i put them on i took the bearing caps off the hubs, cleaned them up and painted them gray so they'd sort of blend and not stick out as much..

lol, very true... that area is nothing but a huge catch basin, and both of the malls that were destroyed are right in the middle of the flood plain...that ford dealership i posted pics of is about 100 yards off of the river.... i live on high ground so i wasn't affected much other than a little leak in the garage roof and a poopy commute to work, but it's surprising to me how many people in the affected areas don't even carry flood insurance and are singing "woe is me, who's gonna pay for this?" all over the news, as this is hardly the first time anyone along these rivers has gotten water in their homes.. i'm not heartless, i do understand that flooding like this is unprecedented, but these people living around there took a calculated risk in not having coverage... everyone gripes about obama and "socialism" until they want a handout...

we've gotten so much rain here that the whole state is now oceanfront property! :rotf: it's bad... i'm lucky, no water in my house, but both the garages have been leaking from the roof... there's 10 ft. of water in some places, they've been evacuating homes by boat and jetski in the affected areas... the pawtuxet river is suppoed to crest tommorrow at 20 ft., which is 10 ft. above the flood plain and a new record... the previous one was 18 ft.. all the other rivers are close to setting records as well.... here's a few pics from some of my friends who live in the flooded areas:

bought mine as a means to an end, it's my first mj and first jeep...back in the days of 5.00/gallon gas, my gf lived near boston, and me near providence... about 70 miles apart... and my driver at the time was a '91 fullsize bronco that got about 5 yards to the gallon.. i should have never done it, but i traded my good running 95 Ram 1500 2wd v6 5speed that got 18-19 mpg for the bronco, right before gas went skyhigh :headpop: so now i needed another commuter that got good mpg's.. did a craigslist search for cars up to $1000 looking for maybe a civic or corolla, and the only one that came up that looked like it hadn't been used as a prop in death race was the mj.. i figured being a 4cyl stick 2wd it should get decent mileage, so i went to look at it, and thus the addiction started :rotf: i called the guy on friday, and he said that someone was coming to look at it saturday morning at 11, so i said ok ill be there for 10.. looked it over, drove it and bought it... he was asking 900, and i almost paid it until i found the hole on the p-side floor on a second walkaround, after which i offered him 800 and he said ok. i gave him 600 and said i'd be back with a ride and the rest of the money the next day.. got there the next day and he says "you're lucky i'm a man of my word, the other kid came to look at it and offered me 1000, but i turned him down cause you already gave me the money" to which i responded "no, you're lucky you're a man of your word" :rotf:

and mine as well..... i wrapped tinfoil around the fuse blades and stuffed it back in, worked for a while -
theyre relatively easy.... pull the caliper and rotor off, remove the axle nut, and theres three either 12 point or reverse torx (not sure it's been a while) bolts on the backside of the spindle that hold the bearing in place.. assuming that all of those bolts come out no problem, then you usually have to beat on the bearing with a BHH (big honkin' hammer) till it pops out

2.5 questions...update 5/20/2010
WBKrazy replied to manimal's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
since the injector(s) are between the TB and the turbo on TBI motors, the injectors are constantly under boost as well. if your running 10lbs of boost, that 10psi is pushing against your injectors. a TBI typically runs around 13 psi max, so if you subtract the 10 psi boost pushing against them, its like you have 3 psi fuel pressure... not anywhere near enough fuel pressure to support boost.....
