And I just saw ur post literally an hour ago, I just bought a set of 16 moabs for my manche, so my turbines would go up for sale! San diegan here btw -
Good Job! That manche going to look sweet! Ill follow this, keep doing that great job!
-
Can I be one of them?
-
Yes but with the 2" sticking out would it sit like flush with the 97+ xj flares? 🤔 Great! do they hit the flares? Did you trim them? By any chanee would u have pictureS? Haha sorry but super stocked with these wheels
-
IIRC most if not all jeep 15x7 have 5.25 BS, the wheels I'm trying to buy have 3.75 so it would be 1.5" more to the outside? Plus the inch but not sure thoe Yeah it would be street use only, still need to check if I'm doing my math right it should stick out at least 2 inches?
-
Hi guys! Quick question so I just found an awesomee deal on some pro comp wheels 15x8 with 3.75 BS btw, I'm currently on 2 inches of lift in the front, rear stock on a 1987 manche. Ok heres the question, would i need to trim the fenders? Would run on a 30" tire and the wheel I'm trying to buy its a 3.75 BS Tried searching but all the topics thet I found had a waaay bigger tire than mine. DDing this truck btw Thanks in advance

I honestly was thinking the same about the ax15 swap... but kind of afraid to tackle it, been doing my research and it seems that sometimes its too tricky
-
Well as soon as I get off from work definitely would check that hose, even though I don't thibk Ill be that lucky! Is it to hard to replace that slave cylinder?
-
Ok here goes more details, by the way the truck was driving like wonders just before this.Driving down the freeway I was on 5th gear cruising when my exit was coming next I start slowing down and downshift a little, thats when I heard a high pitched sounds when I pressed the clutch to change gear, as I slow down more it way harder to shift into gear and the clutch was feeling super soft, like with no resistence. After that I managed to shift into first and got into a parking lot but I couldnt change gears the truck was still on first, clutch was still super soft and unresponsive. Thats when I turn on the truck and start checking for issues. What I checked first was the clutch fluid and it was empty, luckily I had some brake fluid on my truck so I top it off. But did not fixed my issue. But I noticed that it was leaking from under the transmission area, and if I remember correctly my truck has an internal slave right? Thats why I think would be a good ideas just to change the transmission, I looked online and the slave its around 100 bucks. Now everytime I press the clutch all the way down I hear like a grinding sound from underneath the truck. The truck starts normally in neutral, and I still can change gear when its off. But once that its running I can't, to my knowledge it would be a bad master or slave cylinder, but my knowledge its very limited compared to you guys haha. Thanks eagle!

Would not engage Eagle
-
Hello guys! Well something had to happen my truck couldnt last going well forever righr? Haha My truck left me stranded on a freeway exit bcs the clutch didnt want to engage, was driving normal before that, exceptionally good as a matter fact, to the point it got scary haha! Well some of the stuff that I noticed are as following: Well no pressure on the clutch pedal and it seems like leaaking from the transmission area, also no cltuch fluid on the reservoir of the master and pitching sound when I step on the pedal. In guessing slave is a goner, and since I have an ba10 probably going to op for the ax15 route, is it hard to do the swap? Or should I just replace the slave? If the slave would be the problem. Thanks in advance comanche peeps!

I could actually guide the socket all the way to the nut :D making it a breeze! Well for me did a TON of research and videos, everyone sayd it would be a pain! Feel so good that it came out quick and nice!

Well guys just some feedback, my problem was the cps; had some spare time this last weekend and decides to takle down that job. Being tottally honest it was kind of easy haha I though it was going to be waaay harder, it seems that my small hand were finally usefull for something haha! In other matter, I bought the sensor BWD part# CSS582 on O'reilly and its working wonders! Now my slow start is gone, as soon as I turn the key it turn on! Feels sooo good! Btw is this the oem sensor? Oh and a side by side of the 2 sensors (new would be on the left) And yes, still planning to eliminate the c101 in the near future.

I think Ive found my culprit, the extra ground that I installed on the firewall is kinda loose, fixing that today or tomorrow! Thanks cruiser u the best! I actually feel intimidated by soldering to be honest, never have done it before so...Yes I did check on those weatherpack connector and indeed would get kinda expensive haha, but just cheking on prices and adding them on the long, looong todo list haha

Battery short to ground now truck won't start
Egm89 replied to xjustinx's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Actually I did late yesterday AC volts read .1-.2 so I'm guessing it's the culprit. You think the short at the battery would have fried it though?First of all sorry for not answering earlier quito busy in this life, and if thats the reading on the cps, thats a no start condition, check on cruiser tips for refreshing grounds -

I have never soldered before so... I can always try right?

Well, I did the ground test now I'm getting better with the multimeter. Turns out that when I jiggle the cable loom thst goes parallel to the valve cover, I don't see much of a difference in the reading; but as soon as I start jiggling the loom near the c101 the reading on the multimeter changes. So I'm guessing bad grounds, going to check on em today.
