I only saw that. But I think thats the one for the battery. I'm going to try to clean it first so I can find that ground. That may explain alot of problems that I have. Thanks ParadiseMJ, uploading more pics with what I can find soon.

Hello guys! Well I am looking to buy an 1987 manche 2wd, 5 spd, swb truck. Its an i6 with 240k miles on it, and as the current owner says, it pass smog, which is like a pretty big deal around here; I live in San Diego. Well the truck seems to be in good shape on the outside, he sended some pictures and I could see a very good looking little truck, good lines and everything, and hes asking 1400 for it, should I go for it? I have a bit of knowledge already with the manches so far, since I currently own an 86 4 banger myself, but I always wanted a 6 cylinder one, parts for the 4 banger are getting harder and harder to come by, and seems like in every JY I go the stock for i6 parts is sooo high. Thanks in advance!

Clutch question, comanche masters help
Egm89 replied to Egm89's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well a little more background on this, actually this is the 2nd clutch that I buy for my truck, and the first one didnt fit as well, honestly I thought it was easier haha, the first one was an Exedy part number 01020, and the last one was an LUK part number 01010, but its not the correct one :/. Hornbrod, where can I find one of those factory part manuals? Sounds like a good investment if u ask me. -
Hello! Been a member for bout a year now, mostly a lurker to all this information that u guys teach us, but I have a question for you guys. I have an 86 2wd 4 cyl 4 spd comanchr that need a clutch, wich its the clutch that I need, I bought the 9 11/16 inches on rock auto, but the mechanic told me, that was not the correct one, then which one is it?

Thanks for the reply, cheking the cap asap, and if I obstruct the "air-flow" from that house, the engine would die. Well my truck its running "smooth" but it does have some weird things now and then, like loosing power, or triyng to start by itself when I shut it down, but I'm blaming demon for that. And if I was you, Ill check on those vaccum hoses.
-
Ohh really? Then the whistling sound its normal?
-
Well as I was looking under my truck, I found this And if I obstruct that hose, the engine would die. Thanks in advance, I think i might have found the answer to a LOT of things

Question For The Gurus / Problems With My Truck!
Egm89 replied to Egm89's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
thanks man If you could PM me some pics of ur engine bay would be awesomeee! Yes I think I''ll be better of just changing all of them, just to avoid further problems down the road. No man, I don't live in Mexico, haha, I live in Southern California, more specifically San Diego, but since like labor its cheaper over there, for all the major stuff I just cross the border. For instance that paint job was 300 bucks! Pretty good deal if u ask me. -
Question For The Gurus / Problems With My Truck!
Egm89 replied to Egm89's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thanks man! That was a 300 bucks paint job! God bless cheap labor in mexico! -
Well hello! I've been a lurker for quite a while now, always appreciating so much knowledge in this forums. Well I have been having some issues with my truck lately, first of all started by losing power while accelerating, but here's the tricky part, if I turn it off and then on the truck would run good again. And for the second problem, is the its been idling high, like way to high, around 2-3k rpms. So far I was blaming one the vaccum lines, but they look good. So I'm lost and asking for an advice of the gurus of this site. Truck specs: 86 4 cyl, 4 speed stick shift, long bed, 2wd. And here's a photo of my truck!

Egm89 replied to Comanchecatcher's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Man that look nice! Did u ended up fabricating a custom bracket? -
Might as well, ir i can just save it for the near future, cuz I'm planning a 2.5 to 4.0 swap. Thanks man You are a wonderfull person!
-
As soon as I get home, Imma check that. Eagle thank you very much! So I can discard the cap that I bought right?
-
I have the 2.5, and if I can remember correctly, should be around 1/2 to 2/3. Humm that might answer that, so ur saying its "normal" for that to happen?
