Is that column out of a yj? Or did you swap the indicator / center section ?

So this morning I'm sitting around looking on here and a guy from Stockholm said he needs amber turn signal to pass inspection . I had this busted tail light and figured Id see what I could come up with . $20 bucks in materials and these are what I came up with . Pictures to come in a bit .So what do you guys think? What brand oil pumps are you buying ? I have a melling high volume pump in my stroker and having the same issue . It has less than 2k on it . I still have my old one that I took out before I built the stroker that you can have for shipping costs ,It had good pressure . But when I tackle mine and go through all that work I wouldn't want to put a used oil pump in . It's a 4.0 right ?

The 96 xj isn't a column shift .it should be the column with the airbag in the steering wheel Your mj has a column shift right?so it won't work You can change the column and also make it a floor shift but you would need everything out of a pre 95 xj . It's probably easier to get a column or fix the one you've got IMO .

Nice truck . If you need amber lenses I can think of two ways to do it . They both involve getting another set of comanche tail lights . 1. Drill a hole in the turn signal lens and put an amber led light that also has the 2057 bulb base . 2 . Get a amber repair lens at your local parts store (if locally available) use a dremel and graft it into the tail lens . Post a question in the tech forum for more responses from other members . They are very helpful .

I perfectly understand . What about putting something else in like an xj axle ? Or an explorer axle? You'd have to put new spring perches etc ..

Glad to see you got the dust cap off. Since you said it was your first time doing brakes I'm just asking if you packed the new bearings with grease ? Smearing it over the bearings won't do the job .I see you have the fsm , just making sure.

I've got one , it's a 35 , 355 gears . I'm in Ohio you can have it for $50 if you wanna make the drive. It out of an 88 from az and it's clean .

Never said I was going to use the temporary spare . I just want it underneath the truck for factory correct appearance issues . I bring my other mj that has a full size real spare tire incase I get a flat . If I get two flats I'm screwed lol .

How big is that all breeds show? I live in Ohio and I'm debating wether or not to make the 4 1/2 hour trip . Think its worth it? How much is it ? Thanks Alexia .

When I worked at a local body shop i ended up making mine with a metal break . I didn't take any pics but I was easy and cheap to make and only cost me the price of the metal (around ) $40 for both sides.

Thanks everyone . Looks like the next move will be hitting up the local jys and hopefully stumbling upon the proper tire . If I'm not mistaken is it the square hole rim or the 5 spoke v cut rim that the tire is mounted on ? I have both of them . Thanks .
