I'd be cautious in doing that. Too much white light in the rear and you can get pulled over by a cop . It's almost like having a reverse light on and that could possibly cause an accident .

The connector on the drivers side (c319 ) is standard for the plate ,the passenger side list it as an (optional ) plate lamp.

I don't make an offer to go to the JY and say what a hassle it was , I offered lol. That being said , why don't you put the injectors in the newer intake and really screw with people ? They won't know if it's TBI or MPI . If you want me to check on a price for the intake I can .

There is a 91 2.5 mj at the local JY . I can go take a pic tommorow provided it doesn't rain like it's forecasted . They have a minimum of $25 bucks if youre interested in having me pull it and ship it to you.

Changed the ECU today ....kinda. Took out the old ecu and plugged in the 5428 ecu and left it sitting on the transmission tunnel . I do notice better throttle response / less hesitation . I changed the ECU's back and forth to confirm it wasn't in my head . It is a noticeable improvement , not a supercharger but a good plug and play upgrade . FWIW I have 88 with auto and a 4.7 stroker . I already have a polished stainless exhaust header and a 2.5 full stainless exhaust with no crush in the down pipe . Thanks Cruiser .

Rods? Is the 250 for the head and valve job ?

I have the ecu , but until my back is a 100% I don't want to be twisted under the dash changing it .

If you plan on buying these lights, plan on a wiring kit also . I'm not sure if they are still available .

I'd just get a low mileage complete engine . Theyre out there just be patient . Unless you plan on building the engine for performance/ racing . The low mileage engine should be less money in the long run . Just checked my local jeep jy and they have a 2.5 out of a 99 tj with 90 k for$ 750

Thanks Don . I see a lot of swearing in my future . I hate wiring and really hate reading diagrams . Do you think that since my alternator voltage is low and controlled by the ecu as I posted in the other thread that if I check all the wiring for continuity and it checks out fine that my ecu is bad ?
