  7. id just measure and shop around, maybe a old yota or ranger's glass will fit the spot?
  8. the XJ perches are a couple inches off in width, not sure if they're too skinny or too wide but its one, you can't use the stock XJ ones. thats why Bounty said you had to. id imagine yuo could just modify the existing ones but i havent sat down with my 44 lately as its in storage. -nick

  13. shiaaaaaaaat. please tell me the stalling engine kept it from moving to much. and we thought my brothers old 84 Grand Waggy woody was rotted. but if someone can patch together a cherokee and a toyota truck into a Xota offroad machine (search naxja for Xota) it can be repaired. just depends on if you've got a welder and lots of dedication my two cents -nick
  14. we might need to talk if you decide to do this... i have no qualms with hand-me-down parts.
  15. my brothers jeep did this exact thing. park it wake up next mornin nothin. keyturned nada... perfect optima red top with new battery cables... turned out to be the starter. this was a 90 XJ
  16. 12" cut-off would fit perfect in a back winder. count me in!
  17. when your tires are 235s i would say 100 bucks is expensive! my brothers 33" superswampers only cost 155 a pop
  18. i hear ya pong, i cut a pirelli scorpion A/T the other day, 1 1/2" LONG!!! sucks. especially since its a 100 dollar tire.
  19. i think the main difference ive noticed with the HO is the computer system, idle is perfect compared to our ups and downs. everything else is the same.
  20. idk they do seem to be a weak part, mine randomly went completely out one day. -nick
  21. I used plenty of PB blaster and 1/2" drive socket with breaker bar. ive got a 1 1/2 foot 1/2"drive torque wrench you think that would get it out? we only tried with minimal wd40 and a regular ole socket (sorry for the partial-jack) -nick
