Mine did that from slamming the door one day eventually broke clean thru and the fell down inside the body. Get it welded now before in falls down in.

These thing are awesome I had one a few years back wish I still had it but it was very rusty.

Door Check is what its called best to find a 97 up cherokee one there made better and a direct fit. Left or right does not matter however the one on the right side is less worn most of the time if you have a choice. Front and back are different will not interchange. Hope this helps some.

I need rust free retainer brackets for the front both sides anyone have any can deal with broken studs? Cash waiting also have 22 ammo to trade if that helps also have a set of rear comanche brackets to sweeten the deal.
