    Not an ebay transaction. Just one dude trying to work with another. It was run through a credit card that's tied to the PayPal account. Not a huge deal if I need to get in touch with the card people, just one more hand in the cookie jar. I made the claim through PayPal three days ago. I highly doubt it, but out of the graciousness from within me I'm giving him the weekend to see if he does the right thing through PayPal. I've got until July 8th to sick the wrath of the PayPal representatives after him. Definitely not worried about getting the money back. My bad, I wanted to type not a ebay transaction.

    (2000 XJ 207,000 miles) about 2 months ago I had a TPS go bad just driving along trans went funky the engine light came on it called for TPS code. Put a advance auto one in and its did the same thing yesterday throwing the same codes. Went to napa put in there TPS nothing changed cleared the codes and they came right back with same trans idle issues. Any ideas???

    Paypal most likely will not do anything since its a ebay transaction. I know not what you wanted to hear. Maybe someone on here is close to him and can pay him a visit?? If you needed a Renix cluster I would give you one free.

    Anyone know if I can take the manual door lock cylinders out of my 89 and put in the newer style like on the 95-96 cherokee that use the double sided keys. Is it a direct swap or is a Mod needed? Thanks

    File a case with ebay for item not as described they will return your money you will need to send them back though flat rate box is $5.40. You can get the pintile caps off ebay and other places separate I think. Now I see your in canada shipping would be more. how much did you pay?

    I need silverware... BAD! Been doing some other stuff lately with all the mismatched leftovers just to keep busy on something to sell: My local spots around town have all but dried up lately. Anybody have anything they'd like to send this way to support the cause? :waving: Can you use the old stuff its silver plated brass I think i have some? Yard sales just getting going here I will try to find some you can have it for what I pay. I can try to fill A flat rate box.

    Looks like the hat is called the Pintle Cap and is part of the injector. Mine fit fine and no leaks at all . They do fit tight however they must or they would leak.

    Another thought don't know how I missed this? Did you mark the injector wiring so the connectors went back on in the same place? If you got them mixed up that would cause the issue you describe (I think).

    First let me say I am no expert the set I did was my first time also. I was not sure about the clear plastic hat thing mysef. I watched some videos online and it looked like they used them so I did also. As far as using two o rings I would think that would be no good as there not designed to be used that way. If it were me I would put the hats back on take the extra O Ring off and try again. Then if you still have trouble email the company you got them from maybe they can help trouble shoot you problem. Make sure you use a thin coat of oil on the rings when seating them or vaseline I used oil.

    They have not been in long enuf to say anything about MPG. The XJ has 200000 miles on it and was a real dog no power and the acceleration was horrible at best. Its almost like a new engine the holes were were the injectors go were almost plugged shut with carbon also. The main reason I did injectors was bad heat soak issues. I did the recalls, added hood vents and it was still very bad it would even throw a misfire code at times. It is much better now but not gone.

    You used these 39# injectors designed for the 98 and below log-type intake manifold in your 2000 XJ w. the "horseshoe" intake and 49# of regulated injector pressure? And all is well? The link I used was for what the OP needed I did not want to give him a link to what I bought as they would be wrong (unless you use adapters). They are however from the same ebay seller.
