    a couple CC magnets?
  2. Has anyone had any issues with them? problems with applying to a surface? are they surviving ok? I know the 3x5 decals don't like the sunshine and so don't last forever, but how are the white decals doing? I want to know if I should tweak any changes to them to make them better. :D
  3. I'm a big fan of the "don't just replace it, upgrade it!" motto. :D
  4. can't help but notice what looks like a reinforcing bar along the roofline. yes? pics?
  5. I'm about to send another email off. anyone else want in?
  6. it might. might leak a tiny amount, might gradually get worse. might not leak at all. :dunno: impossible to say.

Jim has an empty mailing tube you can use.
  8. supported against what?
  9. how nice do you want the results? a cut-off wheel and paint will do the basic chop. that owner seems to have also added his own custom protection.
  10. yup, what he said. also I moved this to the tech side since this problem can be shared by mjs
  11. The reason for WOT is less restriction to air flow. Supposedly higher and more accurate readings. But why they emphasize it now I don't know. Main thing is have everything in same condition for all readings. might be carb vs throttle body?
  12. yup. those be them.
  13. Laproscopic. although with all the hoopla about how much more awesome it is over the old school slice-n-dice, I had a false sense of how "easy" the recovery would be. this still sucks. just sucks less i guess. still had a crew of docs playing the claw game up inside my chest. feels more like a roto-rooter was used. :ack:
  14. getting there. I still kinda just shuffle around the house trying to be useful (which can be a challenge considering my limitations). still, I hope to be well enough to drive back to michigan by mid next week. :D on the plus side, my bandages have been removed. and I look like I was in a knife fight!
  15. car washes can certainly help, but our trucks tend to rot from the inside-out. :( also, make sure no water is getting under the carpets.
  16. WANT!! I mean, it's only money, right? :clapping:
  17. If the truck is in decent shape rust-wise, DO NOT LET IT TOUCH THE SALT! Winter is a major killer of MJs in the rust-belt. :(
  18. I ran them like that for years. well, technically I trimmed the plates and ran them in the exact orientation they were in SOA. but they were still limiting my up and down travel by an inch or so in each direction. longer bumpstops fixed the up, and I just was gentle for the downstroke. it's a decent bandaid, but it should be just a bandaid.
  19. VERY nice. :D planning any changes?
  20. It can work and has been used, but the shock can become the limit in your suspension travel either up down or both depending on the individual truck. Perfectly fine for a street truck, less perfect for guys that are looking to max out the suspension.
  21. thanks, I'm workin' on it.
  22. need more action shots :D
  23. see, that's easy. just go see Jim. he's got a bunch of rust free MJs.
