  1. And it's stock.
  2. Okay so I don't have to put it back together? I haven't gotten to it yet, work is hectic. And I'd really rather do it a way that I don't have to put it back together just to take it apart again and then put back together again.
  3. Well I went to another shop and they don't do lifts anymore, but he referred me to a guy that used to do rock crawlers and is a welding instructor. He came to my house and priced me at 50 bucks or so to weld the perches and shock mounts on. So now I have to put the truck back together (which I'm dreading) so he can get the pinion angle, and then take it apart again and he'll weld it for me.
  4. Shop told me that my perches were too big for them to weld on to the d35
  5. I found the weld on shock mounts from that lift recipe. They were hiding in my garage. All I really need to know now is how to line everything up on the axle so I can get it welded. Then I'll be ready to piece it back together.
  6. Awesome that's exactly what I was thinking about doing, I just didn't want to hurt it. Glad to know I won't. Now on to the rest of this soa.
  7. $#!&. I just looked at them and I never received the shock mounts...so I have to order them. However, I looked at my bilstein 5100's for the rear and they have a different mount, like the front ones. I don't want to order more so is there a type of rear mount that these will mount to?
  8. Well I bought the mounts in this kit: http://comancheclub.com/topic/35519-55-600-mj-lift-cheap-high-quality-100-complete-lift/page-1? Not sure where to weld them.
  9. Man. This is more of a headache than it started off being. They told me the rear was the easy part. The front was easy compared to all of this.
  10. I think so, somebody said I do have an add a leaf though.
  11. Okay thank you. You probably saved me a lot of money in the future. So basically I should put the axle underneath the springs and hook up the drive shaft so I can get the placement of the new perches exactly. And also I don't want 7-8 inches so I'll be removing the drop shackles as well
  12. And there is perches on the underside of the axle (where the leaf springs were originally.) I was going to basically have the perches welded on directly over them. And I was going to be there when the shop does it.
  13. Thank you, I guess I'll be removing the hard brake lines tonight then. Here is a picture of the drop shackles. I'm trying to achieve 6.5" of lift.
  14. But the shackles aren't my biggest concern.
  15. Yes sir.
