  1. how married are you to OEM? I installed a mirror from a second gen neon in the 88 I've been fixing up that has map lights built in
  2. some of us are trying to avoid litigation

    no more details yet
  4. search amazon for comancheclub and you should find some shirts and hoodies. one of our members is hosting our art
  5. I strapped mine down differently for my trip out to Moab just because of that. tilt your mirror up and see how often you glance at it. might surprise you. bolted in place: ratchet strapped horizontal: personally I like the idea of the tire being in the bed upright, right behind the driver. takes up a bit of bedspace, but completely out of view. tire swings can rattle/loosen up, if you build your own, be picky about the hardware you choose.
  6. protofab used to make this one
  7. how much to you like glancing in the mirror and seeing directly behind you?
  8. forgot to add that this was my parent's only car when I was born. apparently I rode around on the passenger floor for a wee bit until they traded it for a car with a backseat. excellent planning there dad

  11. dugga-dugga-dugga-dugga-dugga for the win! such a cool truck! congrats!
  12. well, that definitely narrows it down.
  13. time to go play in the snow!
  14. there are plenty of people driving ZJs around. they would have the chrysler auto trans and it unfortunately doesn't have the same reputation as the AW4. maintenance is key. but then these are all 20+ year old cars. how they've been treated by the previous owners is the number one factor in longevity.
  15. the AW4 is the auto trans used in XJs and MJs starting in 87 all the way through 01 nearly unchanged. IMO it is one of the best transmissions ever created and can go 300k+ if properly maintained
  16. honestly I wouldn't worry too much about the size of images (although cropping is an excellent idea!), we had a great bit of code that was doing it for the last few years automatically and I'm super hoping that we can figure out why it stopped.

didn't grab the year, so I'm guessing on that.
  18. we haven't heard from Cole since 2021. maybe his email would work better: jomj87@yahoo.com
  19. I feel like that's the path I'd pursue. the mech fan pulls more air and doesn't require a bunch of wiring to make it work. plus I paid for a lifetime so I want my lifetime's worth.
  20. what's the warranty on the clutch?
  21. saw a freakin' Prowler last time I was in town. If I spot it again I'll try harder to snap a pic.
  22. one like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/355720940735 I had originally purchased a more expensive unit, but it turned out the pump was only attached at the top and it sorta parted ways when I installed it, so I went with the cheaper one purely because it had a clamp at the top and at the bottom. seems to work just fine a year later. do make sure you buy from a seller that has a lot of feedback and warranties the part for 30 days. and be prepared to install it right away so you get plenty of time proving it works. cheap electrical parts tend to fail quickly if they are going to fail.
  23. I'll try, but the truck I installed them in isn't mine and lives about an hour away. essentially the relays live over by the battery and the wire is run next to the factory harness.
