trying to bypass the relay. worse case is I just sent power back to the computer. :( I'm about to venture back out in the heat to see if disconnect ing the battery resets anything.

forgot to add that everything else seems to work. although my starter is on a switch separate from the column

as the title says, I was trying to see why my 06 liberty crd engine's efan wouldn't turn on and I think I jumpered the wrong terminals. the engine instantly died and now won't restart. did I fry something expensive? :( stuck at a rest area in ohio. not the worst place to be, but neither is it the best.

next year I should be there :D

just be sure that you don't clog up any drain holes. our trucks rot from the inside-out and that can happen even in a dry climate if water gets trapped.

sorta. I replaced the aging radiator in the 88 with one that had a cap, but I kept the old system. I did it out of laziness, but maybe my subconscious just wanted to confuse future owners :D

there are a couple ways to remove the gall bladder, one has an easy recovery, the other is far more invasive and has a much longer recovery. the worse one is reserved for when there are complications. either way they should have told you why they're are doing what they're doing.

you say that, but once it's in CO and you're easy driving from some of the best trails out there, you might be able to find a stray weekend here or there and make up for lost time :D

I had success with a heavy duty ratchet strap. was still a pain in the butt.

yeah, matching the angle of the current pads doesn't involve having the new axle under the truck. :thumbsup: and all muffler shops have a guy that knows how to weld. :D it's about as easy a weld-job as there can be. getting the perches correct left-to-right has proven a challenge for some out in internetland , so measure thrice. :yes: (and make sure you're measuring from the right places as the diff isn't quite centered in an 8.8)

there's always the option of simply adding more oil until you're finished with the axle. :thumbsup: been there, done that.

maybe if it had ever been built that way it might qualify as the worse, but I guess we'll never know. :D
