No reason why you couldn't. :thumbsup: going SOA lifts it 5-6" over whatever height it is now. I added leafs to firm up my standard packs when I went spring-over.

I would start with removing the AAL. SOA gives around 5" by itself.

I think you could notch the bracket as needed and then add reinforcement across the bottom/front of the bracket as I've seen available in the aftermarket (makes a little skid plate)

I believe the weight of the truck is on the springs via a jack under the axle housing. how much lift?

now that is weird. how much lift? what do you have for upper control arms? my arms were installed in the normal orientation. clearance to that particular spot in the control arm mounts was tight, but my truck had no lift so if contact was to happen it would have been under droop and so I paid it no mind.

just in case, be sure to clean the heck out of the area above the rear wheel wells during the first washing. :( when will dodge figure out that weak point and do something about it already! :fs1:

While I've never seen any evidence of the factory offering such an thing, I could definitely see a dealership doing it to spruce up their parking lot. :D

can you share a pic of the interference? I also trimmed the control arm where it was contacting the cab body. I had no lift and all my trimming was purely for theoretical offroading perfection so I got full droop.

00-01 XJ and any year TJ will work too. :thumbsup:

it'll be somewhere around that height. :thumbsup: the lift needed to match the front depends heavily on how much sag is in the leafs and the height of the new perches and so everyone's SOA is a bit different.

tire chains are not street-legal in every state.

plus tire traction reduces with age (aka: they get harder with time).

well, if it's any consolation to you, when I pulled my blown peugeot for an AX-15 swap I found my pilot bearing had long since disintegrated. there was nothing left of it but the outer shell. :( still worked to the bitter end. :D (and was surprisingly quiet the whole time)

I lopped off a few inches to fit my 60.
