  1. lowers or uppers or both? also, please try not to post your questions in the 1989 VIN forum.
  2. located right up front where they are easy to grab at the junkyard.
  3. apparently you can find them on trailblazers: https://www.ebay.com/i/263620637951?chn=ps

"for a limited time" greedy bastards never change and will always be greedy bastards. the silver lining is that their greed really got me off my butt to upgrade our site. (with help from members of course. lord knows I couldn't do it myself.)
  5. any thoughts on what to do?
  6. ok, I think I have a car plan. If I rent from the downtown denver location and return it there, it's $170 and I can then take the train to the airport ($9 and about a mile walk from enterprise). seems reasonable. as to what we do... I've got no idea but I will be bringing my tent anyways so an overnight camp friday or saturday would be sweet. Last time I was in Denver I had my Jeep and we hit some trails and camped in the mountains. I have no idea where that was since I was just tagging along with Rick (xjs4ever) and his buddies. This time I will likely have a tiny car. I'm entirely relying on the knowledge of the locals for all this.
  7. hilarious mathematical hijinks. seems that if I rent from ft collins and return to denver, there is a 175 drop fee and the total is around 300. if I rent from denver and return to denver, there isn't a drop fee, but the daily charge goes up and the total comes too...... around 300. lol. I guess they want their money either way.
  8. ok, if I stay with my folks in estes park friday night and rent from ft collins on saturday, then sat-tues brings me to ~$300. still too much but much better than that outrageous 800 dollar number. dammit. I do have hopes that a new weekends special will appear after the old one expires on the 22nd.
  9. ok, the time is approaching. what all are we doing? I need to find some campsites but don't know where in the state we are going to be.
  10. well, 3" is borderline for needing most of that anyways. It appears more hit-or-miss than anything. some owners have been able to get away with adding more shims to the lower control arms to simulate a longer arm while others needed the longer arms. some guys have needed longer swaybar links because the swaybar ends contact the coils. and sometimes the track bar pulling the axle over is noticeable, other times it's not.
  11. for what it's worth, it works for me in firefox, chrome, and IE.
  12. interesting. the other 2 sites have one.
  13. the favicon is uploaded. if it doesn't show up in your tabs, try reloading your browser.
  14. yeah, wow indeed.
  15. it should be obvious once you can crawl underneath.

  17. control arms, track bar, shocks, sway bar links, etc.
  18. the AX-4 is 21 spline output and that particular 242 is a 23 spline input.

    great car ad :)

  20. there is a minimum thickness that still allows for proper length lugs. 1.25 is just fine. Spidertrax makes quality stuff. whatever brand you get, make sure they are hub-centric and not cheapie stuff.
  21. it is entirely possible that some real early 87s got the 207 if there were any left on the shelf.
  22. the ribbing could be for strength. seems unlikely they would be for cooling since the ambient air in the engine bay is wicked hot.
